This may be the only original thought that I've ever had.Doesn't mean much,I suppose ,but I wish I hadn't been smokin' when I thought of it.------------------------120 years from now, there won't be 1 person on this earth that is here now. There'll be a whole new set of people!Kinda bugged me.[IMG]

that's why we're doomed to keep repeating our mistakes as a species. especially since we don't learn from our predecessor's mistakes. hell, people in their 20's usually have no idea what happened even 30 years ago.

Not inherantly doomed... people bring it upon themselves.

The worst part is that its common knowledge, yet nothing changes.

If everyone took it upon themselves to make a peaceful world... it would just... happen.

We may not be here in 120 years, but our actions today will effect that time.

No one really knows just how important or far reaching the effects of their actions may actually be. Even just smiling and greeting a stranger walking by could prevent future holocausts, or it might just make him horney, but you don't know....
For all you hard core stoners like me, I have a very important message...and I promise I'll get back to you with it as soon as I remember what it was....and, I mean, I'm not promising anything but just saying....um...what was I saying? [IMG]:spliff:

    It's true!
So lets teach our children to teach their children to teach their children to teach their children to be peaceful :D

Don't really see why we can't. We've been doing the reverse of that for...let's just say long enough.

Better to burn out is from Neil Young's "my my, hey hey"

The tiptoeing one might be original, or i might have seen it and it stuck. Either way it just popped into my head one day.

Gee. I never thought of that. I always think that when I eventually die, there will still be a whole world of people left. But eventually there won't be anyone that is currently alive! I don't know why I didn't think of that :S

    Yeh :S ...

 Man, that is SCARY!!! W/O hippies in the world... well, It's unthinkable. We need to keep the dream alive ya know. Teach our children and our children's children (If we are lucky enough to live that long!) peace and love and hippie ways. If this whole hippie thing can still last even way after the '60s, then who knows?

TEACH PEACE...........THAT'S THE BEST WE CAN HOPE FOR.

    Love & Peace

We should breed less children then our parents if we want the people that live 120 years after us to be able to experience everything we (still) can.
