So where do you guys set up your stuff and get to work? I just decided the breakfast/dining area is my new sewing room but its ok cuz we got another dining room area in the front of the kitchen too... I never understood why some people need two places (on for dinner and one for breakfast) anyways..... Here is what my mess looks like right now!!

Here is my sewing haven...its obviously my puter desk too...my man scored the desk for me when helping someone move! Yay! Its cool tho cuz i can be online and sewing at the same time...woohoo...
I did clean up a lil ...it usually looks like a tornado has hit it...fabric everywhere and dirty diapers n such...haha... There is another desk to the left that is full of laundry at the moment but I usually throw my serger over there when I need to cut or iron fabric or something...
I like it..cuz when i am sitting there sewing the kitchen is right behind me and the room the kids watch tv and play in is off to the right..

Mines a right mess. My sewing machine when it comes out replaces the keyboard which gets shifted to the window sill

My dress makers dummy is at my dads house cos theres no room in my uni room but i leave to go home again soon so its not all bad

ok here is mine. i have all of my fabric (color coordinated..i know..i'm a freak-a-mama) in crates stacked up against the wall so i can see it..well not all my fabric..my big pieces and cartoon fabric are in rubbermaids under the tables. it is small, but i dig it. if you turned around you would see that this is the other half of my kitchen..lol

and it isn't usually this tidy. it is usually an explosion of whatever fabric i am using at the time.

 

Wow cre yours is definetely impressive i wish i had all that fabric!!

 

lol i am a fabric junkie to the fullest..unfortunatly i think lots of it is kinda dorky (great for lining things). i am out of nice big pieces in good prints

 

I have to say I'm in the middle of spring cleaning and reorganizing. So witness my mess :

My space is always messy! I finally gave up on the idea of getting it all cleaned up and starting fresh...I just go with the flow... I love all these colors!

 

Behind that door with the ironing board on it is a walk-in closet stuffed with fabric..

so my pic is about a month old. my space is an ever changing thing..it is particularly trashed today.

 

I wish I could show my work-space, but I don't have a digital camera.

I want to show mine because my parents painted the walls of my work-space a very bright orange when I was very young. It's almost painful to the eyes, but the color keeps me happy.

lol, I got a kick at how many are sharing the space with the puter on the tables, hehe. I have yet to break out my sewing machine and it'll be two years old in August. I've been saving fabric from stuff for years now and have two tubs full. I've always sewn by hand in the past. Shameful I know, but I need to make a space that I can use without having to move it constantly. (also been having too much fun with the mosaics last year)

 

I like seeing my plants in my sewing area...since I cant paint these rented walls orange
And my kids pics and drawings make me happy too...

and now since i got a kick ass package in the mail i have new sewing toys to play with

It really isnt that bad to sit on... It was free.. and the only chair I have.. I am used to sewing on the floor so the chair is nice

 

Oh Man! I can't believe ya'll are gettin' me to post my mess, ha ha! It's bad. I just pile it all up. I only have enough plug space right now for one or the other. The computer or the sewing machine. So I switch them out.
