I'm a Hippy- Chick that was Mistreated Yesterday- at a Department Store

Namaste Everyone!
I realize this should be in the consumer section but wanted everyone to know that I was treated horribly at Marshall's dept store by the manager yesterday. She insulted me,and kicked my bags of merchandise I had. I was there to shop and make a return of items that were all tagged and I had receipts for.Antoher employee processed my return and did not question anything.They gave me my refund back on a gift card. I went to do some shopping and went up to the register to find out I owed money because my gift card did not have the amount that they put on it. Soemone took the money I had on the gift card off by voiding the transaction and was going to keep the merchandise. I was pissed because they didn't even tell me! I got into an argument w/ the manager and she kicked my bags and ordered me to leave the store. I called the cops on her and she was even rude to the cops and accused me of a fraudulent return because she said she didn't recognize the merchandise. (BTW it came from another Marshall's) She was rude with the cop-who happened to be very nice. She was so out of control with him he almost arrested her! I couldn't believe it- He told me to write a letter to the store's General Manager and tell them everything that happened. The cop seemed preety cool and I left. But later,I found out the manager of the store had issued a complaint against the cop saying he was rude and was cursing at her. I was thinking this lady is a wacko!! I just wanted to share this with all of you on here- and ask that you not patronize Marshall's-because they hire people that are cruel to other human beings...I realize I was dressed in a fitted tye-dye shirt, clogs and comfy levi's but that was not a reason to treat me any different than anyone else...I hope no one else willbe treated the way I was yesterday and that karma teaches a lesson! May all of U reading this prosper!!!

thanks for responding- I typed up the letter defending the cop that assisted and all I have to do is send it in? Why did u not sue the Safeway clerk? What is the corporation doing to show their apologies besides a letter? Why did the clerk do it in the 1st place?
I hope she is fired so she can learn a lesson. It isn't fair. I have worked in the public eye all of my work career-and believe me, sometimes even if u happen to not like someone..,it is best not to show it. I am good when dealing in situations like this.However, it seems others aren't .People remember someone in a special way who is nice to them-in spite of-soemtimes they don't. But, it looks good and Wise with the Universe and Karma is on your side. I just hope that her Karma catches up with her to let her know that unkindness is not the way-u know what I mean?

I can't get no satisfaction, it's always that way with me. I try real hard not to get mad because then I get irrational. I agree you should try to help the cop who was only trying to diffuse the situation and do his job. He should not have to take a bad. I've been fucked over by my own family and I don't see them in handcuffs. When it comes to me the assholes always get away with it. I boycott Wal-Mart because they make a profit on human misery and they have mistreated me in the store also. DEATH TO WAL-MART!!!!!

 

Wow! I was told"go on out of here you crazy woman"by a cashier at a Family Dollar store last week!( She was listening to rap on the radio & I asked her a question about Missy Elliott.) She said it rudely and rolled her eyes in front of other customers.It's petty that I even bring it up. I think that with all the hurricanes & the atmospheric pressure fluctuating,I believe it truly affected some folks energies more strongly than others,thus the sharp,rude,impossible behaviors! Or they may just be real bitches! " The atmospheric pressure is crushing my brain,tee,hee." And then again,I may be crazy!

It's amazing how there are so many rudies around...My guy said that the manager of the store needed to get laid...I hate to judge but by her attitude and her looks didn't help either-that is difficult for her to do...I even had an eyewitnes that said she (whim he encountered b4 being rude)was unattached...That's really none of my concern and I couldn't care less.What I do care about is the corporate hand of evil that has taken over. It seems really difficult to stop. However, as far as Wal-mart goes- I have been treated rude several times when I went in there...And other times I have been treated really nice. It's the people that they hire often times...But it is still sad to go to a mass corporation to buy most of your goods. I would rather travel a dozen places like-the farmer's market,whole foods, places Johnny Depp shops-lol, u get my drift?...
I faxed the letter a half an hour ago...I just desire to move on and everything to be well.Karma to be Karma and peace prevail. That's the message I am sending to the Universe...

That's horrible! And I thought I was the one being mistreated cuz I'm a hippie....

 

Yeah that sucks. I promise to boycott Marshalls but I think everyone should boycott Walmart. They are the bigger enemy. Has anyone ever read UTNE magazine? It's really cool and very informative. Anyway I am attaching a link to an article in UTNE regarding the trouble with Walmart.
