i got trained to wash dishes today from 5 to 9:30, and now im totally burnt...it wasnt that hard, but im also feeling pretty sick, so the combo of the two is just down right shitty =/ i dont have to work again until the 6th though, so hopefully by then i will feel better. ugh...
it will get better, once i get into the swing of things. the workers there were really hard to understand, my co-worker who was showing me around and telling me stuff i could barley understand, cause he had a very stronge Ecuadorian accent, and most of the other workers had strong Thai accents. usually i dont understand one person talking, and then the other person tries to explain what he says, and i dont understand that
Aw, I'm doing last minute homework thats due in 9 hours. Of course I had like 6 weeks to do this video... and I'm doing it all right now. I don't expect to sleep tonight.
haha paul, that's kind of funny. . badwolf - happen to me all the time, haha. i'm trying to change that this semester, and next, but ive probably been saying that for years.
by the end of my senior year, i basically gave up and didnt do anything that wasnt important procrastination and deadlines are a brutal combo
definitly...im hoping once i know where everything goes, it will make it easier. im gonna be working in a sushi restruant as well! and i think i get a free meal after ever shift...hell yes! having a little money really is good...im gonna be working until i think july, so i'll have some money saved up for later down the road. i will probably end up spending it all on instruments though
sushi restaurant, ah dude, that's awesome. with the free meals it doesnt sound as as bad of a job now. .
its definitly going to suck the first few weeks though...its a brand new restruant, which opens in a few weeks, so that means im gonna be busy busy busy ...and the plates are 75$, so i gotta be extra careful but your right, as long as i get a free sushi dinner every night, i can wash as many dishes as they require, i loooooooooooooooooooooooooooove sushi
haha thats kinda weird you got trained for the dishwashing job today, cuz earlier tonite, I did the dishes for the first time in a VERY long time (my stepmom usually does it in GA, and I usually help my sister out with other stuff around here.. but tonite decided to do the dishes for her) at around the same time you were getting trained haha awesome. Im sorry you're dead though. Training for a job is usually more hard work than the actual job itself. Cuz they put you through every possible situation, but on a normal day its not like you're gonna do everything at once. Or at least thats what I think, but dont take my word for it, I've never had a job
dishwashing at home is very different compared to doing dishwashing in the kitchen . they give you dishes upon dishes, and you have to wash em with a hose, and then put it in this steamer, and then you got to put them back in a specific place, and since all the plates look really similar in color, figuring out which size you have to put it in is hard to remember it might be different in more places though
well yeah, i would imagine that dishwashing in a restaurant would be a TAD more difficult than washing the dinners dishes at my sisters house
new jobs are always stressful. Trying to figure out what to do, how to deal with the people you work with, what's acceptable behaviour and what's not, which jokes are funny and what subject matter isn't proper... ah, stress stress stress. But having a job is great, and sometimes you really need that change from a shitty job to a new job so you get re-energized about life and work all over again
So glad I don't work with Ecuadorians... I'm caught between heating & air and working in an auto shop.
I am so content being jobless I'm pretty much just the housewife im my house ahhahahah. My mother is the breadwinner round this neck o' the woods. I had a job in September at that damn pizza place and quit after a week. Ahahaha.. I just.. I don't like working. It made me really really unhappy because it took up all my time between school/work, and.. agh. Not my deal. But Your job sounds like it could be kinda fun workin with people with accents etc. ahahahaha.
doh that sounds pretty boring doing the washing from 5 till 9-30 well good luck for the 6th you will be okay *winks* (even though I cannot see into the future). So far every job I have got was pretty lame to begin with........it gets better as time goes on I guess. P.S i had a job once when i had to iron *i really surprised myself*
