I'm finna make panhandling my career

I never had a career my whole life. I'm fixing on becoming a smooth panhandler though.

So what are some good tips for doing good panhandling? Help me out if you got the juicy scoop.

prequisites for panhandling.

1. get the permit

2. make sure your jaw can take a couple good punches

3. start a roth IRA, cuz if you're homeless with no bills, all your income is tax-free, you might as well put most of it away for retirement..

4. hate yourself

 

no i pan handle sort of and its my career!!! but then again i mostly worked retail and sold stuff, which is what i do now.

1.fuck a permit
2.be smooth about it, walk around as you ask ppl for money, fly funny signs and have a lookout for cops as you stand there. one cop sees you=your going to jail or getting a tickett.
3.come up with a better hustle than just asking for money or doing gas runs (walking around w/ a gas can saying you need gas money,it works) i make hemp/wire jewelry, and no one else here does that. i live in florida.
4. hey if you could save money guess it'd be cool. but come on, panhandlin is all about sayin fuck that bullshit, you'll alwayz get another dollar.
5.learn how to live on very lil money, and conserve, ciggs are more important than beer. hit those ashtrayz, buy cheap cigarciggs($1 a pack) instead of blowing that $5bucks in one shot, if its all your gonna see for a lil while, make it last you a day or 2
5.have confidence in yourself, if you live in a house and all you do is panhandle, your a bum. if you are homeless and panhandle, it's your career.,,, are you homeless? or are you a bum mooching off homeless ppl's money?

 

Number 4 is a must. If panhandling doesn't work out, you can always try to obtain some dignity!

 

my advice is to not be sitting on the curb panhandling with a cigarette in your mouth and a $5 "energy" drink in your hand surrounded by mcdonalds trash..

seen that last week and was tempted to run over the guys toes..i cant even afford those drinks if i wanted one for myself (nor would i waste the money on them if i could)

 

Maybe the only thing sadder than someone considering a "career" in panhandling, is someone asking advice in a public forum about how to go about it.

Maybe if you work hard enough, you can get promoted to "toothless guy who sits outside of the liquor store".

I think I would take the first shit job that came along.

 

lets see, you got kicked out of your house and no you dont have a job. you'd not know how to survive

gotta make money somehow, what if there werent any jobs?? like i said you'd all cry. see none of you yuppies have ever had to deal with hardships like that before im guessing.
think about this:
#1 right now i have 1 dollar in my pocket.
#2 im not afraid, that i wont make anything else
#3 i know how to survive
#4 no i dont have a job
#5 even if i found a job, i couldnt keep it long as the things a normal person has to do (shower for instance) i have to do during the daytime. therefore, no normalcy, no job
#6 i am smart enough to have earned the respect of most of the ppl in my town, even though many are afraid of homeless ppl or sick of them asking them constantly for money. CUZ I DONT BEG!!!
#7 i bet i walk back to my tent at the end of the day, after drinking free beer all night, and with $50 cash in my pocketts. i know how to hustle, i know how to survive.

Waiting for people to give you money isn't "knowing how to survive". Having money saved to get you through emergencies is smarter.

Ps I'm not a hippie, what does that have to do with anything?
