Because while driving around my weird little town today I saw a beautiful church called The Great Love of Confusiounism and Taoism..... and although I am not any particular religion...taoism is one "idea" that I take the most from... so I think it would be very interesting to go there... at least a couple times.
If you're into it, why not? At least it may be interesting to see what they are all about. I personally love going to churches. I mean the buildings. Some of the old churches are the most awe-inspiring places.
This church is a really old looking beautiful building. I walked all around it looking at it cause it was quite different.
I don't actually know yet.... so i need to figure that bit of information out...haha But yeah I have no idea what it would even be like there... so im very interested to find out...
Sounds like an interesting experience. Tell us more after you go there and you can tell us how it was.
if you gave me some charcoal and paper..... seriously, I LOVE churches. And statues. And da vinci. I need to go to italy or somewhere europe just so I can draw. Then I can die a happy woman. on topic though, i kinda want to find a cute little chuch to go to also. I dont actually have a religion, iwas raised catholic t hough. And I think the message behind it is very nice. But mostly I'd just like to find a beautiful church to draw, haha.
I'd like to go to church. Might be nice to just sit and hold my husband's hand for an hour and a half while a couple of teenaged girls watch my kids in the day care.
Yeah... I have quite a few books on taoism n agree with much of it... It's crazy cause it's right in my town and I never even knew it was there...actually it's about a block from my eye doctor... I went there today to get my glasses adjusted n that's how I noticed it... hey lode... what does your signature mean??
In Florida, a bunch of lawmakers were trying to get a Christian license plate. So the church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (may peace be upon him) is trying to get their own plate pictured in my sig.
Nah. All these people seem to be rich and rent out ballrooms. Damned atheists! P.S. Actually, I'm sorry I've been to St. Patts. And I've been to a couple in Rio to check it out. My bad. I guess I shouda said, I haven't been to a religious ceremony since I was 6. Baptism. But my memory is playing tricks on me. What am I talking about? My grandparent's 50-years marriage. I've been to that. And a couple masses against my will.
Church is actually an enjoyable place when theres nothing really going on, just candles burning and an organ playing. The preeching and sermins are all just bullshit imo.
Last time I went to church was like 5 weeks ago. Okay, it was longer. But I'm going this Sunday. I'm actually looking forward to it.
And we saw how good all that did for you. Speaking of rich bastards I was at the mall the other day to go into verizon. As I was leaving there was a guy on a cell phone who said very loudly 'A million dollars to me is like $10 to the average guy'. I thought about mugging him to teach him a lesson.
