apparently cereal is going to be super expensive now...or at least theres a good chance of it happening because of the wheat shortage.

this sucks. i practically live on cereal.

not really the most interesting news, but damn i'm going to miss my raisin bran!

 

I wouldn't really worry about it too much. Along with rising gas prices, heres the part fo wheat prices which are artificially controlled.

You notice how wheat subsidies have decreased? If prices get too high more money will be put to subsidize it, lowering costs.

Switch to that Malt 'O Meal stuff. Tastes the same.

I eat cereal every once in a while.. when I feel like it.. I'm not a big cereal person though. ​

A couple of times when I was out in my garden I have gotten bees to land on my finger and now I feel like all bees are my friends. I love bumble bees!!!!!

Is there a wheat shortage? I love cereal too, dear god, what am I going to do? As for you green faerie, you could buy the off brands. I didn't read in that article that the off brands were going up. Some of them are not so bad. Do you have Food Worlds, Bruno's, or Bi-Lo's in your area? Their store brand, Southern Home, usually does a pretty good job of copying name brands. We buy their off brand cheerios, raisin bran, and corn chex for about 1.99 at Food World. You couldn't even tell a difference in the raisin bran and corn chex. I hope the store brands don't go up too much, though. That would be sad. My parents barely keep the house stocked as it is, and cereal and crackers are usually all there is around for me unless someone cooks.

 

Cereal is disgusting. Just eat a bag of sugar and some preservatives...

 

I eat cereal every now and then, like every 3 months, but I like it when I do and wonder why I don't have it more often, but then I go hardly ever eating it again
