It's best to ignore them. I found a video clip that talks about an american woman that decided to wear the veil. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xt23sm_muslim-explains-why-she-wears-the-veil_tech
Wow. totally rude and uncalled for. I can guarantee you no one here sympathizes with psychotic murderers, no matter the race or religion. You're obviously like every other American who assumes any Muslim must be Taliban. Open a book once in a while. Actually, judging your behavior and her behavior, she's a bigger person than you are, a better, more mature, more open minded, more compassionate, and more educated. I call troll. Another one who thinks all Muslims = terrorists. No, it's an inflammatory question, meant to hurt.
Please, take your own advice about being open minded. Having an open mind means that you'll examine different points of view, such that you can accurately judge their merits. It doesn't mean that you don't call shit shit. Shit is shit, and islam is shit. Sorry.... having an open mind doesn't mean taking anything that anyone says they believe and saying that it's fine, because it's their belief. They may believe that, but if it's shit, it MUST be called shit. How can anything ever get better if everyone has an open mind to all the shit that anyone else can shovel, and calling it shit gets one yelled down?
I thought at this point, it's supposed to be up to a male family member? And she's not supposed to be out and about without such accompaniment? I KNOW she's not supposed to be driving.... But as I already pointed out, she's had, apparently, plenty of pre-marital sex and engagued in various other islamically unacceptable sexual behaviour, she is to be stoned, no matter what she converted to, or when. Like, literally.... go to saudi arabia, and tell them that you used to have lots of sex, but now you're a muslim: they'll stone your ass.
Uhhmmm, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say by about your 3rd post it was a definite suspicion, but by your 7th it was a confirmed fact. :2thumbsup: oh and I mean posts since you joined, not just this thread. I'm just curious what it will be next week when the wind changes direction again. Anxiously awaiting the next installment.. :lurk5:
Would you like to bet Im the only one in this thread that knows when prayer time it? Ive recited more verses from the Quran over the years on the forum than you are aware of, obviously.. fluent in both the Bible and the Quran. I served in the Middle East.. I know radial islam and I know Islam .. Im probably the most outrageous Muslim you're ever going to know.. Where is there an Inflammation? The Op's is bipolar or a nut.. Nudist one minute, Hijab the next. Sudden shift in ideas ..humm.. Interesting.
Yeah, knowing your history and religious/ideological leanings, I wondered about crap hurled your way as well and thought "They do know Orison, don't they?" :smilielol5:  you obviously haven't kept up with her many threads, have you...LOL :iagree:
That was very nice of you to say. Thank you I appreciate it. A religious experience caused a rather sudden and abrupt change in my life. One of the things I'm learning how to deal with his the rudness of certain westerners. On the Internet it's pretty easy but some of comments said on the street...Those comments hurt especially when it comes from people I thought I knew. I always said that nothing worth having in life ever comes easy. So in a way this helps build my love for Allah.
Hmm... I didn't mean to dishonor her or something. She wants to wear the hijab, and it's not my business. But I think I have the right to express my ideas. Let's not ask how you realized she's better, more open minded and more compassionate than me. I know Islam more than you for sure. I live in an Islamic society, and I've studied Islam a lot.
:2thumbsup: You appear to be an excellent example of what I was saying about open-mindedness NOT being the same as acceptance of any philosophy or idea as being equal, or worthwhile, or even acceptable. It just means you judge them all fairly.
ASSALAMU 'ALAIKUM (Peace be upon you) You didn't dishonor me because Allah (Azza Wa Jall) holds my honor. But I must ask if you're muslim because I'm going through things I find myself unable to understand. I'm only now putting together the pieces of the puzzle as to how this change occured. An abrupt religious experience is truely a blessing but it's not without difficulties. My new friend Fatima comes around 2x every day to check up on me and she phones me in the morning to make sure I don't miss prayer. (I think she's afraid I'll go back to catting around... *won't happen*) Unfortunately she doesn't have all the answers I seek and the Ima that I met is a busy man and I don't want to trouble him too much. I also have classes starting in 3 weeks but again it's going to be a room filled with others so how many questions will I get to ask? So if you're muslim and it pleases you.... I would be honored to ask you questions about the Qur'an and prayer. - BARAKALLAH
What Exacty Is Your Goal.??? Methinks It's The Hip Forums "Troll Of The Year" Award, And To Think, It's Only The Month Of May, You Certainly Climax Early In The Year... Cheers Glen.
I hear you talking lots of "shit", and I usually try to avoid people talking shit. Wow, none of us have ever been young, ever experimented, or ever changed our mind.... some arrogance here.... You're calling her bipolar (an insult to her AND people with real issues), you're calling her a nut, making sexist and hateful remarks, and when she made this thread to celebrate something new, you all came in trying to rip her to shreds. I don't agree with her choice either but I support it.
I am going to wear a baseball cap. One of the first rules of wearing a baseball cap is that you must like to advertise your attachments. Death to all who oppose my team.
I was, in the past, but now I'm not anymore. If you don't mind asking an infidel your questions, perhaps I can help you a little. But if you do, then nothing.
I don't have a problem asking you questions and I don't consider you a bad person. My recent experience has taught me that Allah (S.W.T.) is in control of our lives. If your heart is closed and he wishes it... Allah (S.W.T.) will reopen it. (A'UZU BILLAHI MINASHAITANIR RAJIM ) 7:31 O Children of Adam! Wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer, eat and drink: but waste not by excess for Allah (S.W.T.) loves not the wasters. I'm wondering if I can extrapolate wasters to mean more than just food? Should I perhaps also apply this to my daily activities as well? And how about knowledge and things I have learned in my former life? This particularly I want to know because I was a very secular girl and in being like that I did many things that Im no longer very proud of. Howerver these things did teach me a lot about people and how the world works. Can I still call upon that information or is it perhaps best that I turn away and banish the things I learned in the darkness because they might corrupt me? Baraka Allah
Orison and my opinions are based on her overall presentation here at HF, not just this one thread. Based on that she seems to be one of those types who reads something and is immediately over-the-top enraged/inspired/motivated/converted/etc. but upon closer examination her ideas are very, very poorly researched or thought out. Then when people such as myself and others point out the errors or fallacies in her positions, she responds in the very mature manner of putting us on the ignore list rather than confronting the questions and responding. Nor does she recognize the absurdity of some of her positions in light of her hypocritical remarks/behavior. She just runs away. As for everyone coming here to rip her to shreds, like I said, you obviously haven't kept up with her many other threads have you? This shit is friggin' hilarious. It is this thread juxtaposed against all else she has posted that makes it all so tragically humorous. That's why I check out Resistances threads, entertainment. :2thumbsup:
