i have no idea on what to buy. i was gonna get a B. C. Rich Warlock, but then somebody else bought it. so now i have no idea what to get. what would be a good bass for a beginner to buy? i'd also like to know how many watts the amp i get should be. would 10W be good enough for a practice amp?

If you plan on playing metal the warlock has a pretty standard metal sound.

Otherwise I found Yamaha makes really good basses such as the BB or TRB series. I have a BBN5 that I have played for 7 years and has stood up really well to the beating that I have given it.
10 watts should be fine for a practice amp.
