Im honestly.

    Thinking of institutionalizing my self, this depression is just getting worse and worse, im losing control over it.

    The unique thing of institutions is they try to recorrect you to what the world currently is that actually is the leading cause of depression itself.. But the reality of it is thats what the world is..
    I suggest you take a fishing trip, No computer no tv, no phone..
    The world will still be there when you get back..
    Hospitals are fucked up. The thanksgiving decorations piss me off. Its a hospital. It should be void..
    I think its really retarded for a mental heath professional to say to a patient "its halloween today and what are you going to be?? " You get the idea..
    Maybe I have different view that other pplz. I observe a inpatient hospital on daily basis from the cctv.. its not kewls...

    Ahhh im not saying its a good solution but im out of ideas and people so i dont have many options left. I dont think a fishing trip is a good idea, im not sure how safe it would be to further isolate myself.

    We are all isolated. Im in the middle of the woods. My home is freezing. :p ok its hot near the fireplace. But its ice cold everywhere else...
    Now that Im single its a motherfucking bitch to do everything...
    There is 8 giant rooms that are empty.. 14 all together..
    I want to bulldoze it and put up a single trailer...
    You can try medication, or modify your routines..
    A pet can help sometimes to. Give you something to take care of thats living not idle, like other belonging..

    Yeah ive been drinking... I dont really expect anyone to say anything that is going to make it all better, i know it doesnt work that way.

    I know it sucks. if you're like me you'll get better eventually, and then it'll come back, etc.

    I've been doing really well, I had a Uni exam last saturday and i feel it went really well, but then i come home and BAM i feel like shit, and it just keeps feeling worse and worse.

    xac have you been to see the doc? i did when mine got out of hand, completley against my better judgement coz i hate doctors, but its been better, sometimes it helps to just talk everything through with someone whos completley unbiased to your situation.

    and like zen said you could writing or drawing as u suggested, although i know that when your feeling depressed doing anything is a chore.

    I hate going to the doctors, it's close to pointless, I tell them something is wrong, they have a look and they tell me there isnt... i go home afer having wasted an hour and a half.

    Xac, seriously GET OFF THE NET for a while, and socialise!

    The net is meant to be a hobby.It ISNT a replacement for real life.
    Yes u might meet up with people via the net , but you live in Australia , NOT "networld"..

    Limit your net use to x mins per day/week.

    Set up an"action plan" +follow it , and think of new hobbies , not as hobbies but *socialising*.
    And remember nutrition , sunlight , exercise

    you already know what it will take to drag you out of your rut.. no amount of medication or therapy can cure depression faster than you deciding to confront your demons will..
    thats about all i got to say on the subject,i dont have much tolerance for whine asses..
