I'm Korean! Get it RIGHT!

Hello everyone! My name is Jami. I am 24 live in Georgia and am a waitress as of tomorrow! I live with my wonderful BF of almost three years! As for the title of my thread... I hate it when people call me Oriental! Oriental refers to rugs, food, the Asian culture...and other such things...not Asian people!
Just thought I would say hey to ya'll before I started posting replies and making threads... I think posting without an introduction would be rude...and I am not a rude person!

Webster’s defines Oriental as;
Oriental adj. 1. Of the Orient, its people, etc.; Eastern. 2. Oritntal, eastern. n. a member of a people whose native country is in the Orient.

Let me extend the welcome mat. I recently found "The Hip Forums" myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to "Flame" you, that just isn’t tolerated here. From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters.
