I'm leaving on Saturday

to go to Florida for 5 weeks. I'm not excited.

 

Florida sucks. Except for the mushroom fields in Ocala

 

I'll be south of Ocala, somewhere called Englewood or something. Its gonna be hot, and there are scorpions down there. Fuck that.

what are you taking about? Fort Lauderdale has this raw ass foam club. boy, you gotta hit that up and get down at least one night if you're in the area. I'm gonna go for Spring Break, God willing(does a prayer).

How could you not love Florida? I love it there! A few years ago I was trying to convince my husband that we should move there. For a little while, I thought I had him sold on the idea, but then he was like "nah, too hot!" Pssshhh!

Look at the bright side, I mean come on, sunshine, palm trees, sun tan lotion! Mmm! You're lucky!

 

I won't really get to do a whole lot, since we will be working 50-70 hour weeks so we can get done and get the hell back here, and I really don't want to be away from my family any longer than I have to be...... (family isn't just my wife and kid..... my "babies" just popped out of the dirt today.)

 

Oh, I thought maybe your family was going with you too. Yeah, I can see how that would suck. All work and no play.

 

Parties, girls, coke, beaches, clubs, rich people to roll, old people in retirment villages. yeah man, you are very lucky. nevermind, just read the thing about your family. you can't get buck louie at all anyways. sorry.

 

Thats one of the shitty parts. The other shitty part is that I have to drive 19 hours to get there. and 19 hours back.

 

Oh man, you mean they're not paying for a flight? I figured you were flying out. Yuck! I hope they're at least reimbursing you for the gas money!

 

Well, I'm not driving MY vehicle, but we have my boss's truck packed full, and a 17' uhaul packed full and between the 4 of us we are going to drive the 19 hours straight. And yeah, gas is being reimbursed. We also are having a house rented for us, but its only a 2 bedroom, ( it was supposed to be a 4) so I get to sleep on the floor for a fucking month too. Its less and less enticing every day we get closer to leaving.

just 4 of us. One guy isn't going. There are only 5 of us in all anyways. But we can build a house from start to finish in about 2 months.
