Good to know, thanks! I think I sound completely different from an American but I know people will think I am an American every day. Eddy couldn't tell the difference until he came to Canada; lived here for a year; then met some people from Chicago. Everyone here thought Eddy was Australian.

Hahaha, those were his words exactly, "A shithole." He said he didn't quite realise how much until he moved here actually. Soo different. He keeps saying he worries about me being an innocent little naive Canadian. Hahaha.

Ilkeston! Ha! I'm going to England on a UK Ancestry Visa and my grandmother was from Ilkeston.

Yes exactly! I'd like to see the area my grandmother grew up in. I'd like to see the houses she lived in (I have two addresses I'd like to see).

HAHAHA. Oh man that made me laugh. I read it and could literally hear Eddy's voice saying it (my bf from Nottingham).

Well I'm still going to see Sherwood Forest and take the tour like a true tourist. I'll have to make sure to wear my american sweater tied around my neck with a pastel tank top and beige shorts. Haha, or, better yet, my "Team Canada" jersey and red "We're number 1" foam finger.
