I am literally ecstatic to have found a community such as the rainbow family.. The only like minded person of the counter culture I have been able to relate to was my best friend, but he has recently passed away. I have an open mind and an open heart so I hope I'll fit right in.. All I know about the rainbow gathering is from things I've read about it -- can anyone tell me about their experiences and/or what to expect? Anything I should know? One love, Carlos
I hardly ever look at things at the top of the page....group, polls, and what is the other one? Have you read in the forum?

Hello friend, and hi becca, what to expect...... Expect to lose yourself, then find a new you. Expect to be uncomfortable, and then be comfortable with it. Expect to jones for mountain dew(i do). I guess what I'm saying is, at your first gathering you will find yourself dealing with parts of yourself that you never knew existed, after the whiny part of you shuts up, not that you are whiny. You never realize the effects that Babylon has on you until you walk away. Make sure you bring a tent, sleeping bag, cup, bowl, spoon, and some bud to puff with me and you'll be fine..... wink wink -Smokey
