I couldn't have put it better myself. I think the majority of pot heads would agree with this. I personally don't constantly have pot but when I have it I smoke it for any reason... until it's gone. For me it simply makes everything better!!!

Definitely. Marijuana perfectly accentuates every situation, no matter what the circumstances may be. When you're doing something fun, weed makes it more fun. When you're doing something shitty, weed makes it less shitty. When you're not doing anything at all, weed makes it less boring.

    In short.....smoke blunts:sifone:

If any person needs to do/have/use anything before they can function comfortably in any given situation then I would think that they have an "addiction" be it physical or psychological.

The degree of that "addiction" is individual. The tolerance of it is is also individual based upon what those around them feel is acceptable and accommodated or enabled.

what's the problem? if she's constantly zoned out, then maybe it's a problem.

i function normally when i'm stoned, and i'm stoned nearly 24-7, yet i still work three jobs and go to school full time, pay all my bills, etc. it's not harmful and it's a part of my everyday life. it's just a part of who i am, and i've been doing it for almost 10 years now.

    Just what I was thinking.

I smoke sometimes, but I don't need to at all and I can easily go for long periods of time without smoking. But my boyfriend will flip out if he can't smoke a bowl every hour.

I personally think it is sad when someone needs to be high all the time to enjoy life. I enjoy smoking and drinking but I still enjoy myself without it.

Meh. I think when people are stoned constantly they lose a ton of perspective.

Maybe they gain a ton of perspective. The point is, everyone is different. Like I always say, different tokes for different folks:sifone:

so they lose the perspective of not being baked all the time, while gaining the perspective of being baked all the time. overall, they end up perspective neutral.

Maybe she suffers from anxiety and that is her medicine. No different than someone with social anxiety taking a kpin or xanax before going out to avoid uncomfortable anxious situations.

Fair enough. I think one has more value than the other.

I don't smoke pot during the winter because it makes me less aggressive for ice hockey.

I enjoy it on the riverbank while I fish, but I'm on call enough that I rarely smoke

Maybe not even anxiety. It could be straight up major depressive disorder, which is what I have and weed has always worked wonders for my depression. Marijuana IS nature's anti-depressant, afterall:sifone:

Exactly. Just because she smokes before she goes out doesn't mean she can't handle life without it and she is a junkie. It is indeed a medication and people use it as so even if they are unaware of it. Human's have used marijuana as a medicine for years for all kinda of aliments. We have receptors for cannabinoids all over us and inside us. We were meant to use this plant.
