I'm tired of this... I'm filling my backpack. I'm just gonna go. I'm gonna become a drifter... I'm gonna go to squats...

I'm leaving my nice warm house to go to real stuff. Instead of be stuck here in front of a computer all day. The only thing I need to figure out is a way to get food..

Maybe I won't leave for another year.. But I'm definitely leaving..

Everyone wants to ramble at that age, but realistically speaking it would be an extremely bad idea for you to leave home.

I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but you'd be benefiting yourself if you at least finished high school. Most people at 15 are lazy and don't know what they want to do in life. By not having at least a high school diploma you'd be more or less guaranteeing yourself to a life of poverty and mediocrity. You may not consider it now, but when you're in your mid twenties and your only options for employment are fast food and 7/11, you'll wish you hadn't just given up.

Besides later on you'll have bills and taxes to pay. Take advantage of the free housing and food while you still have it.

Oh grow up and learn to take some constructive criticism. You're 15, you have no idea what the world has in store for you. Of course older people are going to laugh at you for saying things like this, it's foolish to want to run off so young. There's nothing wrong with taking off and leaving it all behind when you're old enough to not act like a crybaby when someone disagrees with your ideas.

I don't see the point in sugarcoating things for a 15 year old either. Sorry, but I was 15 once, too, and god, if I could go back and give myself a good slap, I probably would. I work with a 17 year old who has been on her own since she was 11, not exactly by choice and she's in one hell of a situation these days. It's fucking sad when kids want to grow up so fast, there's plenty of time to be an adult when you are an adult.

Yeah I wish I could go back and be a kid again with no responsibility, no worries. As A kid you say "I wish I could get out of this house. As an adult you say "how am I going to pay for this house".

 

Which is why dazed should just sit on the idea for a little bit and then go and do it. I'm not saying not to do it, I'm saying wait. There's still time.
