i spent the last several months working my ass off trying to get into a "prestigious" private school. i feel like i didnt get in because im not some sort of minority even though white kids are a minority at these schools (or my teachers sent the schools a shitty evaluation). im wondering if anyone had a similar experience that they can give me tips tonot be so pissed off anymore.
Lemme put it to you this way, I graduated 6th in my class, 2 years ago, was involved in a ton of extracirriculars, and had pretty good test scores, but I'm still struggling to scrape up change to even consider a community college. All you can do is accept it didn't happen, pick up the pieces, and move on. And above all, try not to be too bitter. Being bitter does nothing but sour you and you're too young to become sour. Do the best you can with what you have and try another school. Just because you didn't get in your dream school doesn't mean you can't find another that's just as good or even better that will accept you.
From what I know of the prestigious Harlem Academy, they accept white students with equal passion as long as they have the necessary academic background Hotwater
