why's everybody pickin on her? how is she different then the two EQUALLY unworthy candidates? I have not yet heard a legitimate argument against her. I'm not looking forward to Halloween when every dopey bitch in america dresses up in a pantsuit, throws on some glasses, and bashes her to get some dick. somebody needs to enlighten me to all the fuss.

i know politics is probably boring the shit out of people so really i'm only looking for someone to lay a Hatesmack down with a good reason.

I don't think it's that she's a republican. there are a lot of well-spoken, formidable republicans.
the issue most people have with her is that she comes off as ignorant, short sighted and totally unfit for vice president. I don't know how someone of normal intelligence could watch any of her interviews and not pick up on that. looking back at her corrupt record as a politician is pretty revolting as well. not to mention most of her support is gimmick based; people want hackneyed folksy cliches and she provides them.

 

1. She's very pro-life
2. What'd she do as mayor of that small town, take a surplus, built a hockey ring, put the town into debt
3. She supports arreial hunting, wtf, I don't hunt but I support the right to, but from the sky? It's like fishing with dynamite
4. All her interviews and the debate just really shows she doesn't know jack shit

except for #4, all of those could be defended if one was so inclined.

Yup thats my huge issue with her, she is way too conservative to run a country that has a ton of people from all walks of political belief. I think someone on the far right OR far left would be a bad idea.

But if our economy goes to shit and the masses are hurting badly for support it could happen. I think eventually our country will just melt down something crazy will happen, and someone who in our current state would have no chance of winning the presidency could pull it off. I just hope we dont pull a Germany and choose a hitler type character.

 

i just don't think shes qualified to do the job. i think she sounds totally lost in her debates like shes winging it and her speeches are all read off of a teleprompter that someone else typed up for her with no emotion except for the last few words when she wants people to cheer. also, i don't believe in being a conservative, as i support being taxed, coming out of the war with iraq, non-taxed healthcare and my (womans) right to choose.

i think the richer should pay more, not the other way around. like i mean i would support giving tax breaks to these large companies if they really needed the extra money like to pay salaries and wages, but they're geting these tax cuts and making HUGE profits, especially big oil companies. i also support getting taxed for things we need now or in the future, like social security and medicare, or like sales taxes for new roads and whatnot, but i don't wanna be taxed out the asshole for making less than 30k a year than people who are rollin in the big bucks and are barely seeing a dent... like its just a few nickels to them. they need to be taxed more, like a few dollars.

 

But it generally goes by percent, and I agree with you, but on the flip side people could argue why should they have to pay more then they already do just because they have more money. I mean the rich do pay most of the income taxes in this country, while me and and I assume you will wind up paying almost nothing with our stupid jobs. Or like Exxon, everyone was like rabble rabble rabble when their profits came out, but what never gets mentioned on the news. In 2007 Exxon made over $40 billion in profit, freakin ridiculous right. That year it paid almost $30 billion in taxes

I say no IRS and a flat tax for all. More tax on the lower income is never a way to win an election, and taxing the rich heavier is bad too. The rich are the business owners that employ alot of people. Do you think higher taxes will be used to cut their profits or cut their workforce?

Also I dont like Palin because I am already sick of hearing Dontcha know? and Hockey mom, 4 years of that would be brutal.

China isn't sneaky, we let that happen when we brought the Made in China product because it was cheap and shitty

 

people always look at price before quality in general, that is what china is good at. I'm more worried about all these countries buying up our debt, now that could be a real clusterfuck in the future.
