and it's pissing me off. why the fuck do they gotta pray over everything? this is a political thing, not a religious thing. god damn, i hope a lot of things change in this country over the next 8 years. fucking praying at presidential inaugurations, and shit. but either way, it feels good to have some diversity going on in our country finally. i'm more hopeful about the next few years than i have been in a long time.
when i'm sworn into office... i'll make them say every name of god before i say "i do" thats my promise to the american people.
Aura and I were making fun of America for hours last night. I mean we do that every night but this time had some classics
call me whatever you guys like. i know it's part of the culture i'm living in to pray over everything, but it still offends me. it's ridiculous how socially acceptable it is the proselytize for the christian faith, but speaking about any other spiritual beliefs is somehow taboo. that's what gets me frustrated, is all. not that i expect politics and governmental officials to fix all of society's problems. that's quite unrealistic. i'm just amazed to watch the way things currently work within our society, because most of it makes no sense to me.
Deal with it. ...and study it better so that it would actually make sense to you. It's all very simple.
Especially the negros. We celebrated MLK day yesterday with blunts, 40s, and a whole lotta fried chicken.
