I'm thinking of getting an industrial piercing done, but I have oddly shaped very small ears.. and the curve around the top of my ears ends at the top of my ear.. It's kind of hard to actually explain, maybe I'll take a picture? Anyway, my question is, will they still do the piercing if there's no 'ear curve' to put it though? Also, will the piercer have different sizes of barbells for this, as I feel my ears might be too small for the barbell they usually use for this. So I might need one that is shorter in length?
the barbells will come in different gauges..as to whether you can actually get the industrial piercing will be down to you piercer.. who should hopefully check out your ear and see if the cartillidge is thick enough.. In my case I wanted it done but was advised against it coz my cartillidge was too thin but i walked out with a navel piercing!!! So if in doubt, go in with another piercing option, i.e navel, lip etc.. as well as the industrial just in case the industrial can't be done, you have a second choice so that you won't be too disappointed.. Keep Rockin' Shadow M xx
I have a cartillidge piercing at the top of my other ear, but if I can't get it done, I also would like to get the a cartillige piercing a bit lower than the one I have. So either way, it's good.
well an industrial piercing can be done in different lengths...if you need a smaller length they can adapt to that....piercers have alot of experience in telling what length you will need....if you have any other questions feel free to email me at breprater@comcast.net...
You can get an industrial via rook, which is the one bar going thru 3 holes, the normal two industrial, and then thru ur rook in the middle of ur ear. Would probs be painful but looks pretty cool! Sorry, couldn't find a picture!
have your piercer put a normal sized barbell in there instead of the ultra long industrial bars...it would work
