I only get inspiration to write when I'm driving around by myself at night. For some reason, that is the only timeI get inspired. When I get home I don't remember all of the stuff that was running through my head, and I forget a lot of it. I was just wondering where, and when does everyone gets their inspiration???
I have no set place, time, setting or whatever for inspiration... it just happens... Perhaps one of those little handheld tape or digital recorders you could speak your thoughts into while driving around - then transcribe them later? Just a thought... Gina.
I second the tape recorder idea. So much of what suddenly comes into our head doesn't stay. Put it on tape!
The best ideas come to me whenever and wherever I am, so long as I'm nowhere near a pen and paper! It's nice though, makes me exercise my brain to remember. I've though about using a tape recorder, which I may still do, but haven't yet.But yeah, my inspiration seems to come only when I'm off simply living, never when I'm trying to write.
yeah, driving around is a good source of inspiration, spurring from the optimism and exhiliration of freedom.
Random places. Sometimes there is no inspiration at all, just puzzle pieces of poetry, phrases popping out of nowhere, other times it's just current moods or quick emotions that spur a downpour.
Im the same as 'ginad1026' it just randomly happens. I normally carry around my little poetry book, that I write most of my poetry in and when I think of stuuf I just write it all down.
