OK, the forum community has made its view to my message/post known by it's silence: Acid is better. I hope I am excused if I do not give up my quest to make the effects of LSD available simply by engaging in a verse that produces a satori. This one obviously a long way off.....is it wrong for me to think that it is a possibility? Even so, its fun to dream. Sometimes they come true. chowder

LSD is nothing but a tool, its like a car. it gets you further then your feet. A car is nothing with out a person to drive it. No person could truly say they have found enlightenment with LSD, because it comes to an end, and when its over. Its what you do with yourself after you take LSD that truly matters. but how could you stop yourself at just that? there is so much more then lsd, so many other alterd states to learn, new perceptions and approachs to everyday thoughts, new understandings and insights about yourself and others. As you gain experience through alterd states, you use your training to highten your awareness and consciousness. but DMT is like a rocketship, to infinity and beyond.
Reading the words is one thing, understanding their meaning another altogether. Some people could certainly discover ultimate truth/enlightenment/whatever you want to call it on their own, but I think for a lot of people that discovery is made much easier with access to LSD, or other psychedelic drugs.
^ What Jimmy said. I'm too easily distracted, so I can't get to the point where I can experience what I can on entheogens through meditation(I don't mean the trippy shit that happens obviously). I used to think that taking entheogens is sort of cheating your way to "spirituality", and that it should be earned instead of just handed to you on a psychedelic platter. But now I think, does it really matter? If it makes you a better person in the end, then why the fuck not? Plus you have a bit of fun on the way.
Sure you may have found enlightenment today... What it's all about is waking up tomorrow with that enlightenment and everyday after that. That's the tricky part..
I've attained level 9 satori with LSD, but with psilocybin I've attained level 14 moksha with the sat chit ananda spell. Recently though I've been left to scamper with my boots of retreat +3.
