That's pretty messed up. Are you talking involuntary pukeage, or are you making yourself puke because the idea is so detestable? The closest thing that's ever happened to me was once when someone served me cow chili instead of veggie chili, and the minute it hit my tongue, it came back out all over my plate. It was just a reflex... kinda embarrassing, coz I'm usually a well-mannered eater.
That fact that you're vomiting is a mental state. You are so disgusted by the fact you ate meat, that your body reacts to it. It is not the meat, it is you.
not necessarily. Last time I ate meat I didn't know (school food sludge it all tatses the same not matter where i came from). Anyway right away I was hella sick, felt nauseous all night and puked up a fair bit. The next evening i found out it was actually beef in my vego spring roll, not veggies. so yup, maybe it's just your body having a spazz at having to process meat after a long absence?
RIGHT its very possible her bodies grown accustomed to her treating it with respect and straight up never liked meat but was so used to it she didnt even notice the negativity always happening, like so mant americans do with fooooood and its so rampant and sad to see. you know, just the other day i got a stomach ache making a soyshake with some regular milk and soymilk mixed in, and was not detesting drinking regular milk at all mentally because my mother was going to waste the milk. it didnt taste as good but i wasnt like shuddering from drinking it,and afterwards there was undeniably some stomach and general achiness going on in my body, nothing like overbearing, but certainly not pleasent and im glad i drank the small amount i did mixed with the soy stuff i believe humans are meant to consume for their source of proteen like that one guy said. its much tastier and youd probably enjoy it so much more if you just opened up your mind and tryed the shit, you guys probly try drugs and alcohol and bunjee jumping and new flavors of ice cream and shit when you get the chance dont you? BUT NOOOO WE NEED MEAT, MUST HAVE MEATTT, haha... peace and much love everybody.
How long veg, retro? I know if I get something with critter grease it puts me out of whack. Usually, I can detect it quickly, but some over seasoned sludge (including fish sauce) can sneak by. It's an odd sensation. If you stop tonight, no worries. If you are still vomiting tomorrow, hit lots of lemon water and take it easy. You could be getting legitimately ill, not just food reaction.
As much as I usually disagree with you...you have a point here. However, if you're a vegan/veggie for a long period of time, your body adapts to that, and eating something out of the ordinary, such as meat can make you sick. I wouldn't usually think to the point of vommitting... but, it can upset your stomach. But, I DO think a lot of it is the mental state. Normally, being a veggie, you find meat disgusting, and you have reasons for why you find it disgusting... Subconciously you may have been so disgusted by consuming the meat [for whatever reasons you have for not eating meat] that you may have had some sort of gag reflex. And with gag reflexes, it can take quite a while for the nausea and vommitting to wear off... Example: I do not like foreign substances in my beverage, it freaks me out. If there is a particle of food or ANYTHING in my beverage, I won't drink it... The other day I was drinking a coffee, and felt something in my mouth and immediately spit it out everywhere... I saw a huge hunk of what looked like a piece of napkin laying in the puddle, and it made me so sick to think of having that in my mouth, that I gagged so hard until I threw up. I felt nauceas almost all day afterwards, and threw up a few times throughout the day. The mind is a powerful thing, and you musn't forget...it IS connected with your body, and affects your physical state as well.
