    no problems really. You just have to be open, willing to learn, and respectful of one another. Oh, it helps alot though if the people around you are also respectful about the situation. Actually, it can get pretty fun when you start to learn things from their culture that help change your own outlook on life!

    Haven’t experienced it yet.

    But I just love watching Seal and Heidi. They are really good together. I can’t fully explain it. I get such a kick seeing them too. :D

    I think if you cared enough about the other person and vice versa, here would be more happiness then problems – you would find a way to make it work…

    I dated many Hispanic men when I was younger and have a friend (only) who is a toucher, so people assume with us.
    I also am friends with many middle eastern musicians.

    I'm in a reddish-necked area near a liberal town. We get the "look" but on occasion someone will just beam a smile.
    I'd say the partner relationships and the friendships have a uniting element in that it is more hassle dealing with haters and the terminally narrow minded.
    What is different is family.
    My first husband's mother always said, loudly, that Jews were just as good as normal people. Oy vey. When I explained that my being Jewish made her grandson Jewish, I thought she would die.
    The current mother-in -law is less judgemental, but her other son calls we "the Kike girl." True class, that one.
