Well .. I am from another part of the world, Pakistan ! .. Iv been wondering what an ordinary American thinks of the crisis in Iraq and Afghanistan. Me being next door to these countries can mostly get the impression what Media gives. Do you guys really think that Osama Bin Laden exists, and is behind all this? Are the documentaries like Loose Change, Ferinheight 911 n etc popular in America? Do you people Support the War on so called " Terror " ? Replies would be much appreciated =] ..
Yes.... he exists..... no, he wasnt behind 9/11. (that's my answer, not the "majority") Yes. I don't and most people here don't anymore either.
I do not think that this forum will give you a very objective view of American sentiment towards the war.
I think most people who have their facts together know who bin Laden really is and who funded his rise to power and who has been protecting him. If somebody believes he carried out the 9/11 attacks, let alone the absurdity we cannot find him with all the satellite technology we have (and the fact we LET him escape into Pakistan), then they listen too much to what the media tells them. This whole "War on Terror" was planned long ago, and well before 9/11. Yes, it's all a smoke and mirrors illusion. Nothing the public is being told is true. They are using fear and non-existent "threats" from Muslim boogeymen to carry out a long-term agenda.

The media portrays an image for Iraq, but if anyone has friends in the military or have friends who have friends who have friends that have been to Iraq, they know it is much different than it is here. The war on terror is useless. After we win/lose this war, it'll just be someone else coming after us. It's not like this war is proving anything anymore. It was the whole "weapons of mass destruction" which led to killing Sadam and his two sons. There isn't anything else to fight over anymore. I give our soldiers credit, and yes they are in my heart, but they can't build a democracy. Soldiers aren't political experts that can fix the problems they have over there. What the media portrays here is that every single citizen of those countries are psychotic and they are all running around strapped in bombs and whipping guns around. However, it is just the opposite. There ARE psychos like that, but for the most part it's just people and children like us.
Basically what everyone else said He exists but has nothing to do with the attacks, he was funded by the usa. These videos are popular, but only delve into the topic to an extent. There is a lot of important info excluded in these films. There are also some dubious claims in some of these videos which serve to discredit the genuine search for truth and those who try to voice an opinion on what is really going on. But at the basis, I can agree with the point the films are trying to make, 9/11 was not orchestrated by folks in the middle east who couldn't even pass flight school, let alone fly a boeing 757, it was an inside job. The war on terror is a load of crap. it has no objective enemy. This is on purpose, in my opinion, to keep this country in a constant state of war. And to frighten otherwise well meaning citizens. You can't fight against something that is unidentified. But in the same light, fighting something as broad as terror will always keep you busy, and allow you to have a scape goat..since what fits under the purposely broad term of terror is always morphing, so is your enemy. which means you will always have a means to scare the people. After all, you can never rid the world of terror. When people are scared, they give up basic rights for "safety" and empower the government to grow to the point where it is unaccountable to the people, so that they may wage bullshit wars with more ease. Of course, you have to look at those who stand to gain and who is funding these wars, but that is another story for another time. The war is crap, it does not protect us or make us more safe. In fact, if anything, it puts us in more danger, to have our troops in foreign lands, instead od protecting us on our own soil!
