I'm looking for opinions. I already have mine.

 

art is only pointless if you want it to be pointless. some see great things in art, some see just boring drawings (sculptures, paintings, photos, etc...)

 

Exactly.

To me , its not pointless cause its pleasing to the eye.

 

I don't think there are many things more important then art, by which I mean all music, literature, film, classical arts... There are no more meaningful pursuits.

She started shakin' to that fine, fine music
You know, her life was saved by rock'n'roll

 

Art is much less important than life, but what a poor life without it...

the only thing i have to say is: just wait for the moment you find out yourself why art isn't pointless. it can move the soul, touch the heart and so much more.
