So, how many of you "Americans" have read the U.S. Constitution? I'm sure you didn't know this but it is more than 200 years old. How do we even know that what it describes really happened? And what could a bunch of men in wigs possibly know about anything important? They didn't even know how to make computers or play guitars.

What kind of idiot believes in Democracy? You can't prove Democracy exists, it is obviously just some illusionary being created to keep the masses under control. And why is so important that they have to impose their fantasies on those of us who are too smart to believe in such an imaginary reality. Show me where I can go to rap my knuckles on this Democracy you put your faith in and then maybe I'll consider believing in it.

Life? Isn't that just DNA making cells which make bodies which eat, sleep and fuck until they have to stop?

Liberty? Again, prove that it exists and maybe I'll consider believing in it. Maybe Democracy, that bearded man in the sky, passes out buckets of it.

Happiness? That's just The Man's way of keeping the masses down. Keep them distracted by "The Pursuit of Happiness" and they won't try to take The Man's power away. Yeah . . . fuck happiness! Imagine what would happen if we organized and replaced The Man with one of our own.

The other thing that proves the U.S. Constitution is bullshit is the fact that Americans believe it is the proof of America's existence because American's believe it proves America exists.

And why should I believe anything that tells you to kill Indians and own slaves?

Obviously, some people will believe anything. But we are smarter than all of that, aren't we?

    Peace and Love

Ok guys thanks for all the replies
I had been away for sometime
You all have taken this thread a long way

But like I said I find a lot of christians in this thread again on the defensive
coming under attack from atheists and non believers on some valid points

Looks like this is not going to change anytime soon
until christianity and other religions reforms itself or there is a paradigm shift in their thinking

    Ok just curious

But you keep talking of prophecies
Can I know of some important prophecies in the bible ?I don't know any except I have heard about judgement day
I first heard the term from the terminator series [IMG]
and later found out that there was something in the bible about it

You need to understand, kids love prophecies about death and destruction as long as they don't feel like they will be hurt by the death and destruction. It's like watching a movie (like Sin City) or reading a book (like Shadow Account by Stephen Frey), you are entertained, but you don't really feel real worry for the characters.

Ha, just the other day, I read this wack jobs website that was portrayed as quoting some Chinese Defense ministers plan to attack the United States in the next 5-10 years. I was all like "w007! WW3!!! Awesome!"

That is the same power weilded by the "church."
The "power" any priest or member of the clergy, and therefore any church has is the power to lie, deceive, distort, corrupt, pervert, mis-represent, disenfranchise...............are those "powers" of the flesh?
