Hi every one, :) I hope you are all fine and happy

We shouldn't base our beliefs and judgments on weak, sandy foundations, rather than on the solid foundation of rock èQuote from Jesus' Parable [refer to Matthew7, 24-27] © è :)

1- Is God One or Three?
2- Is Jesus God or Part of God?

    Let the Gospel answer:

    *********************************************************
One came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he (Jesus) said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God. But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
    (Matthew: 19.16-17)
    *********************************************************

    * Why callest thou me good?Or in modern English,Why do you call me good?We wouldn’t find this wording and meaning in some Bibles! This text is found in King James Version. Read this passage by clicking here;

    * Several questions can be asked about the above verses:

1- Why do you call me good? Why did Jesus question his own
    Goodness?
2- Jesus emphatically stated thatthere is none good but one, that is,
GodWhy did he refer to the one God as thegoodone only?
3- Why did he exclude himself from being good, if he were God?
4- Jesus explicitly pointed out thatif thou wilt enter into life, keep the
CommandmentsWhy didn’t Jesus command the questioner to believe
in him (Jesus) as God in order to enter into eternal life? Or Based on Jesus’ testimony, isn’t keeping the commandments enough for getting eternal life?

    * Now, let us re-read the verses of Matthew (19: 16-17) as stated in King James Version and the same verses as reported in the New International Version.

    *********************************************************
One came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he (Jesus) said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God. But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
    KJV
    *********************************************************
Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do toget eternal life?” “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.”
    NIV
    *********************************************************

    * please: Compare between the colored sentences with black and blue in NIV and KJV, Please honestly compare between Jesus’ question in the KJV and his question in the NIV. Do they have the same meaning? Can they both be correct?
To make it easy to compare, here are Jesus’ two different questions:

According to KJV, in simple English, Jesus asked:
Why do you CALL ME GOOD?
But, according to the NIV, Jesus said:
Why do you ASK ME ABOUT WHAT IS GOOD?

After comparing the two questions carefully and objectively, are they the same? What do you think?
Going back to the question, Is Jesus God?, I think that if Jesus were God or part of God, his logical response would be to approve of what the questioner called him (i.e., “Good Master”)
Sound reasoning and plain logic tell us that God is good and if Jesus were God or part of God (part of the Trinity) he MUST BE GOOD! Don’t you agree?
Presumably, some of the possible, expected responses that Jesus could utter in response to the young man sayingGood Masterinclude:

A" Certainly, I am good, for I am God.”
B “You are right. I am good.”
C or at least, knowing that he was obviously good, being God or a manifestation of God, Jesus could have answered the young man without taking issue with his words by saying:
If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments

But, astonishingly, Jesus responded to the young man’s wordsGood Masterwith something unexpected! He denied that he was good, Wondering,Why do you call me good?
So, instead of denying his goodness, wouldn’t it have been more reasonable for Jesus to seize this occasion and acknowledge that he was good, since he was God or a manifestation of the one God, if such were the case? Why would he refer to the true God alone, and not reveal his own ‘good’ divinity?
    *****************************************************
    Mark: 12:28-29:
28: one of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him" of all the commandments, which is the most important?''29: '' the most important one'' answered Jesus '' is this: hear, O Israel, the lord our God, the lord is one.
    *****************************************************
    To be continued….
    Yours Sincerely,
    Cat Stevens

2- Is Jesus God or Part of God?

    Matthew 4: 1-2, 8-9.
1 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil 2 after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.9 and he (the devil) said to him (Jesus), "All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.”

    1) The Bible says,Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desertI wonder who has more authority and more power, Jesus or the Spirit? Why didn’t Jesus lead himself to the desert if he were God? Does God need someone to lead Him?

    2) The devil (Satan) tempted Jesus who is considered to be God by some Christians. Can God be tempted?
But God can’t be tempted! James said:
God cannot be tempted by evil(James 1: 13)

    3) The Bible reports thatAfter fasting forty days and forty nights, he (Jesus) was hungry.
    A- Does God fast?
B- Does God feel hungry or thirsty?
C- To whom was Jesus fasting? To himself as God or to someone who is greater than him?

    4) In the story of ‘the temptation of Jesus’ we came to discover that the devil
(Satan) moved Jesus! (Matthew 4:5 & 8) if the devil did that with Jesus the God, can God be tried and moved? Let’s remember James’ words, God cannot be tempted by evil
At the end of the dialogue between Jesus and Satan and after Satan asked
Jesus tobow down and worshiphim, Jesus said to the devil:
Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.” (Matthew 4: 10)
I assume, if Jesus were God incarnate, he might have easily responded, “No, Satan. It is you who must fall down and worship me, your God!” But instead he invoked the above scripture about worshipping the true God ONLY.
Moreover, we learned from the story that Satan SAW Jesus!
But, the Bible emphatically indicates that GOD CANNOT BE SEEN.
Whom No one has seen or can see (1 Timothy 6: 16)
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (1 Timothy 1: 17)
    Yours Sincerely,
    Cat Stevens

In the Godhead there are three persons. Each of them have their seperate funtions, yet all are equal. Christs funtion is to do the will of His Father, as seen in the New Testament. The Holy Spirit preforms the mircles, and the Father directs the activities.

The Devil tried to temp Christ in His human state, but failed, because you can't tempt God.
Jesus being God, yet human, did experience pain and hunger.

God is a Spirit, and the Bible states that no one can see God, yet the Bible states that some will see the human image of God.

    John chapter 1:10,11,12
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, (even) to them that believe on his name.

His name, is Jesus Christ, all other names fall short, and have no power to forgive sins.

Other verses from the Gospels give a different impression:

    John 10. 24 - 30.

"Then came the Jews round about him, and said to him How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them to me, is greater then all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
I and my Father are one."

    Matthew 16.16 - 17.

"And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou Simon Barjona; for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven."

What do you mean exactly by equal? i.e.
1- Are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit EQUAL?
2- Is God the Son (Jesus) EQUAL with God the Father?
3- Is God the Son (Jesus) EQUAL with God the Holy Spirit?

My Father is greater than I (Jesus) (John 14: 28)

My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all. (John 10: 29)

What I teach is not my own teaching, but it comes from God, who sent me. (John 7: 16)

I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is
just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father who has
    sent me. (John 5: 30)

No one knows, however, when that day or hour will come—neither the
angels in heaven, nor the Son; only the Father knows. (Mark 13: 32)

Anyone who says something against the Son of man can be forgiven, but whoever says something against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven-now or ever. (Matthew 12: 32)

After reading these clear-cut statements spoken by Jesus himself, what can we conclude?
Based on Jesus’ honest and frank testimony that the only true God (the
Father) is greater than him and greater than the Holy Spirit, that what he teaches is not his, that he and the Holy Spirit know nothing about the last day, and that he can do nothing of himself, you should accept what Jesus says about himself and not make him God or the equal of God! Except if you meant something else when you said:

    *******************************************************
    *******************************************************

During the days of Jesus' life on earth he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death. And he was heard because of his reverent submission
    (Hebrews 5:7)

    * If Jesus is God why he offered prayers to God the father as long as he is equal to the father? Is he praying to himself? Why this submission as well?
Hey hold on! What does this verse mean?è Who could save him from death, And he was heardè does it mean that God saved him from death by acceptingè (was heard) his prayers after his reverent submission and loud cries? If so then he didn't crucified? And if so, then this is what is written in the Quraan too God saved him from death until today, refer to these links [read paragraph # 5 post # 1 click here and Post # 3 click ]

There is only one God, here God is talking to Jacob peace be upon him “…understand that I am He; before Me there was no God formed, neither shall any be after Me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no saviour.(Isaiah 43: 10-11). I think this verse is really enough.

    * Compare between Heb and Isaè save, which I colored it with brown color, so only God can save.

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. (Exodus 20: 2)

He isn't God according to Matthew (19: 16-17) King James Version + the same comment on Quote 2 and on other Quotes from your posts.

    Allah stated [Quraan]
O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah, while you (yourselves) bear witness (to their truth), O people of the scripture! Why do you mix truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know?

In the first Book of the Bible God states let US make man in OUR Image. God was speaking with those of the Godhead. For there was no one else around. And this is why in the New Testament it states there are three that bare record in heaven, the Father, the Word, (Jesus) and the Holy Ghost, and these three are ONE. God exist as three persons, yet one God.

    Dear let me tell ya,
let US make man in OUR Image what I understand from this verse that god's figure or god's image is like the human being image i.e. when God wanted to create the human being he decided to create the human being as he is looking like as his image (walking by two legs, have two ears etc) not like the animals' image. what do you think?I could be wrong but this is how I understood the verse.

    1 John 5: 7- 8
For there are three that testify: in heaven: the father, the word and the Holy Spirit, and these are one. And there are three that testify on earth; the spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

“…and these three are oneand “…and the three are in agreement how about saying that the word ‘one’ is being used figuratively to mean in agreement. If the message of Jesus is in alignment with what God has ordered, then, in an allegorical sense, he is ‘one’ with God. So then there is no contradiction with the oneness of God! What do you think?

I want to add to my previous comment above that; the part '' the father, the word, and the Holy Ghost: and these are one'' cannot be found in some bibles for example; the new American standard bible!
1 John 5:7-9 (New American Standard Bible)
7For there are three that testify:
8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.
9If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this that He has testified concerning His Son.
And they wrote a footnote please read it by yourself by clicking on this link,

The Bibles, which do not show that these three are one are of a more liberal version, and if you look at some of the other modern translations, you will find more mis-translations. That is why I stick with my Old King James.
The Bible indicates that there will be other beliefs, and other doctrines but these are not the Words of God, but of confusion. The bottm line is the blood sacrifice made by Christ. Christ has stated that no man will be justified by the law. And Jesus has stated that no man comes unto the Father but by Him. Was Jesus lieing? If we cannot work are way to heaven, how do you believe we will get to heaven? Has Allah died for the sins of the world? Is Allah now the blood sacrifice? Can Allah forgive sin? Was Allah predicted in the 300 prophecies of the Old Testament? Did Allah create the universe as the Bible states Jesus did? If Allah is who we should believe in, then Christ is a liar.
Yet the prophecies of the Bible have never failed, so why should I believe in Allah? Does Allah show prophecies that can be verified?

But we must respect God's word! We should not delete some of his words or add! I think I should learn the Greek language, do you know where can I find Gospels manuscripts in Greek on the website? However,

Benjamin Wilson says in his Emphatic Diaglott,
The Received Text reads: "For there are three who bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth." This text concerning the heavenly witness is not contained in any Greek manuscript which was written earlier than the fifth century. It is not cited by any of the Greek ecclesiastical writers; nor by any of the early Latin fathers, even when the subjects upon which they treat would naturally have led them to appeal to its authority. It is therefore evidently spurious, and was first cited (though not as it now reads) by Virgilius Tapsensis, a Latin writer of no credit, in the latter end of the fifth century; but by whom forged, is of no great moment, as its design must be obvious to all.
Please click Here to read Benjamin Wilson saying, you will find it below Footnotes and Other References section in the third paragraph, and if you want to know more about Emphatic Diaglott click Here

KJV Matthew 15: 9; Jesus peace be upon him stated:
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of menè that were Isaiah's prophecy regarding Jesus and he is right, That because Jesus isn't God as he himself clarified that according to (KJV Matthew: 19.16-17) which I explained it with details in post #1 and god alone should be worshipped (NIV Matthew 4:10) … for it is written, worship the Lord your God, and serve him only. What do you think? Ok if Jesus is God too then how a God worship a God?
    * Read this KJ?V Mark 12: 29: And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord, he said our God which means his God too?! How a God has a God too? If Jesus is god why was he praying? was he praying to his self? If Jesus is god, could God be struck (John 18.22)? Isn't God the Almighty? Jesus said: I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. If he is god too why couldn't he do nothing except by God who is his God too? Can God be taught?

    * If Jesus died after he was crucified then God doesn't die if he is god, read (1 Timothy 6.16) who alone is immortal… whom no one has seen or can see Also, (Deuteronomy 33: 27) the eternal God is thy refuge
Eternal adj. 1 existing always; without an end or (usu.) beginning2 unchanging. 3 colloq. constant; too frequent (eternal nagging).
existing always; without an end or (usu.) beginning è Jesus has beginning when he was born otherwise the Old Testament will mention such God? That's why Jews don't consider him as God because it contradicts with the God who is in the OT which is only one and almighty etc you read in Acts 17: 18 regarding Paul: … He seems to be advocating foreign gods. I think I have to write another thread regarding this someday.
(KJV I Corinthians 14:33) For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace (1 Thessalonians 5:21) Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

I will write a thread regarding crucifixion's accident someday.

Jesus has never lied and will not, please give me the number of the chapter and verse.

Why we cannot! Follow God's law and commandments and you will go to heaven Amen.

    No. Allah doesn't die.

Of course dear brother, let me quote to you some verses
    Exodus 34.6-7
And the LORD … proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin.
    Quraan 3.135:
And those who, when they have committed Fahishah (great sins as illegal sexual intercourse) or wronged themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their; - and none forgive sins but Allah- and do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while they know. 136. For such, the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and…
15:56: … "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" see he called them astray! What a Merciful God, WHO IS LIKE HIM? SURELY NONE BECAUSE HE IS THE ONLY PERFECT AND NONE IS PERFECT BUT HE,
"When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne: 'Verily, My Mercy has overcome My Anger.'" O MY DEAR LOVE, I LOVE YOU, MY HEART IS DANCING THE HAPPINESS AND REFRESHMENT DANCE, DANCE OF LOVE WHEN I MENTION YOU OR OTHERS DO.

39:53: … "O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: verily, Allah forgives all sins. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
O Lord I CANNOT stop loving you, CANNOT STOP THINKING OF YOU,I LOVE YOU AN INFINITE LOVE WHICH DOESN'T HAVE BORDERS NOR LIMITS, PROUD TO BE YOUR CREATURE AND PROUD THAT YOU ARE MY LORD, GLORIFIED AND EXALTED IS YOU MY DEAR, MY LOVE AND EVERYTHING, MY PARADISE MY HEAVEN IS YOU, THIS IS THE REWARD THAT I WANT NOTHING ELSE BUT YOU, O MY DEAR MY LOVE MY OXYGEN 'CAUSE I CANNOT LIVE WITH OUT YOU, IN MY HEART YOUR PLACE AND IN MY BLOOD, GLORIFIED AND EXALTED IS YOU.
O my God my heart is beating, the beating of sincere unique love, Oh my lovely tears, tears of love…….. Oh………. I think I have written a poem :) I LIKE IT WOW. LET ME CONTINUE AND EXPRESS…
YOUR CREATURES, PRECIOUS LORD CAN READ MY LOVE TO YOU IN MY EXPOSER EYES, THESE PRETTY EYES THAT YOU GAVE ME, THESE EYES WHICH SHED THE TEARS OF MY LOVE TO YOU, THESE TEARS WHICH EMBODY MY HEART'S CASE, THE CASE OF WHEN IT BEATS THE LOVING BEATING, THE BEATING WHICH GIVES ME A UNIQUE INCREDIBLE INDESCRIBABLE FEELINGS, WITH WHAT SHALL I WRITE THESE WORDS MY PRECIOUS LORD, WITH TEARS OR GOLDEN OR BLOOD, WHERE SHALL I WRITE THEM MY BELOVED LORD, SHALL I CHISEL IT IN MY HEART OR WHAT, LOVE SPEECH WIH YOU DEAR LOVELY GOD NEVER END MY DEAR LOVELY LORD, BUT EXCUSE ME TO CONTINUE REPLYING ON YOUR CREATURE'S POST, TO YOU, O ALLAH, MY ALLAH, MY ALL SINCERE INFINITE LOVE, YOURS SINCERELY, YOUR SLAVE.

O MY GOD! Of course Allah [God] is the creator, when did Jesus say that he is the creator?

O My GOD! Are you serious, Christ is real and will return I swear,
Mark 12: 29: And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord
That's God is Allah who is my Lord and Jesus' Lord, Allah is the Lord of Jews and Christians and Muslims that is my belief, if a Muslim deny Jesus then he isn't a Muslim.

Allah who had sent down the Gospel and Torah that is my belief.

Of course, not just prophecies, many other incredible things, Allah has supported his last revealed book, the Holy Quraan, with many miracles that prove that this Quraan is the literal word of God, revealed by him, and it was not authored by any human being, the Quraan which was revealed 14 centuries ago, mentioned facts only recently discovered or proven by scientists, this proves without doubt that the Quraan must be the literal word of God, revealed by him to the Prophet Muhammad, and that the Quraan was not authored by Muhammad who himself had never claimed that, or by any other human being. This is also proves that Muhammad is truly a prophet sent by God. It is beyond reason that anyone 14 hundred years ago would have known these facts discovered or proven only recently with advanced equipment and sophistical scientific methods, however this isn't out topic. And yeah there are prophecies regarding Muhammad in the bible I am working on it and will post it someday in this forum Allah willing.

    Peace and love
    Yours Sincerely,

Thank you for your answer, but you avoided the main point I was making. God did not speak of Himself as singular. for He state, ''let (US) make man in (OUR) image.'' God is not a singular being, and that is why the verse reads that way. Jesus Christ is part of the God Head.

JESUS CHRIST CREATED THE EARTH AS STATED IN JOHN 1:1 TO 3.

IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD. THE SAME WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD. ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANY THING MADE THAT WAS MADE.

JESUS IS THE GOD WHO MADE ALL THINGS.

You're more than welcome dear believer.

O oh! So that was your point then, OK do you know that beloved God Allah is talking like this in Quraan too? Us, Our, We etc, but he is saying in the same time that Jesus isn't his son but his messenger and that he is one? So let me tell ya the Quraan has revealed in the Arabic language each language has its own rules, grammars, odd grammars, exceptional grammars etc. In the Arabic language when a personage or (VIP) is talking about something he did it or he will do it he says, for example: We will discuss this issue later not I will discuss this... so, Allah is the greatest when he talk about himself he says we. I think it is exactly the same for Genesis 1.26: …, Let us make man in our image because god is saying in Isaiah 43.10-11: … ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.Deuteronomy 4.6: Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD. I think Jews understood that in this way too, Acts 17: 18 regarding Paul: … He seems to be advocating foreign gods.

He himself denied that in (KJV Matthew: 19.16-17) which I explained it with details in post #1

    • Jesus didn't state this; it isn't written that Jesus said: in the beginning was the ward… etc. but if we will assume that he stated this;
    • The word was with God, and the word was God! I think I didn't get this, if I say: the pen is with me and the pen is me? There are a difference, how the word with him if he himself the word? Does word here mean Jesus? However, ignore this but in
    • Matthew 26: 36: sit here while I go over there and pray. If Jesus is god why was he praying? Was he praying to himself?
    • If he is the son of God literally, how is he the son of God and God in the same time?
    • If they are the Holy Spirit, Jesus and God one, could they be separated? What is the proof or is there a verse explains such thing that God can be separated? Could he be separated?
    • If he is God why he said: Matthew 27.46: My God, my god, why have you forsaken me? Was he calling himself?
Again Jesus himself denied that he is God in (KJV Matthew: 19.16-17) which I explained it with details in post #1, But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men èthat was Isaiah's prophecy regarding Jesus and he was right

Give me the name of the chapter and its number and the verses' number, please.
    Yours Sincerely,

I can't speak for your Bible, but in the Old Testament when God uses OUR or US it is speaking of more than one.

When the Bible states that in the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. I understand the meaning. And I don't have to do back flips to make it say something else. There is only ONE God, but He exists in three persons. There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one.

Ezekiel chapters 36, 37, 38, and 39 speaks of God returning the Jews to the land of Israel in the last days. He tells us that they will retake Jerusalem and He indicates that He is doing this not for the Jews because they profaned His name where ever they went. Yet, He will do this for His names sake. He will get the other nations to try a drive the Jews out of the land. When the nations do this, God will destroy the invading army and reveal to the Jews and the world who He is. You can read more of this in Zec. chapter 12. The Jews are not back in Israel by accident, and most Jews themselves don't know the story either. After this event the Jews will look upon the one they pierced and will morn for Him as one who would morn for their only Son, and the Jews will ask Him where did He received the wounds in His hands. This is all stated in the Old Testament. Do you have an idea who they might be talking about?
Can you think of anyone in past history who was from Israel, who was pierced, and received wounds in His hands?
