Im living long and wild:) I eat healthily but to me thats more fun, i prefer the taste of fruit and vegs to anything else, truly. I dont smoke but thats because i hate it. I exercise lots but thats fun too! To me the two go together

Out of the choices in the title though id live "short and wild"...whats the point in living a boring life?

Yeah, can't there be some happy medium?
I'm not really a wild person, so I guess I tend to lean towards the latter, but at the same time, I don't plan on being something like a bank manager and my life isn't THAT boring.

Life is about enjoying it. Even if we are reincarnated then we still forget it all so we might as well enjoy it. And yes, being a bank manager obviously is the last straw in my ever so large bundle of it. Unfortunately horses eat it all.

I'd like a long wild life ideally. But if I had to choose, probably a shorter more interesting life. After all, it's the wild ones that are remembered after they're gone. They can live forever....

You need a bit of both. Of course nobody's going to choose dull over interesting, but who says you need to lead a wild and reckless life for it to be interesting? Collecting butterflies is probably fascinating to those that do it, but anything you do habitually will get to be dull. Living a wild life gets pretty boring after a while. Variety is the key.

Its a misnomer that a wild life implies a short life, just as a boring life does not necessarily indicate a long life, therefore the question is impossible to answer since it is possible to have a wild life and live into your 90's etc etc etc blah blah

I hope never to reach old age. If I live to 100 I think I may recieve a telegram from the future king. It is better to live young and die young. that way you don't see the inside of an old people's home. It smells of piss day and night and everyone eats mashed up baby food. No, I think if I die at 65, that is good enough. I believe that in my next life, I may have better things. I believe right now I am in purgatory. I will be greatly compensated. Either that or eternal nothing.

You'll still be working at 65 unless you've got a decent and secure (as secure it can be) private pension.

It is often harder for old people to comprehend the change. I would hate to look back 80 years of my life in an even worse situation as I am now.

You sound like that guy from - I think it was the fast show - where he everything is great with him, and he says - yeah, so anyway old people are really great because they all talk about the war all day long and smell of piss and then they die.

I hope I'm dead by the time I start shitting and pissing myself, and lose all kind of dignity. I would rather live a long life where I'm a raging alcoholic, but have all the money to support my habit, rather than have no money to support it.:)

you wouldnt exactly say shane macgowan had a boring time but look at him in interviews etc what a pissed up wanker, same with Shaun Ryder - they had fuckin drug/alcohol fuelled lives and now they are just as bad as any 80 year old and they are in the 40's

    Theyre complete pisshead wankers

Life as an alcoholic is incredibly boring, but I suppose I used to romanticise it too, before I tried it:rolleyes:
