Is pornography perverted?

Well guys, what do you all think?

 

Looks to me like most people are ok wit porn. I dont think of children as sexual beings. I don't think anyone I would hang out with would either. I am not an extream feminist either. I can't even understand that narrow view. Yeah but need I say more. I like porn.

 

I think its verry perverted... I dont like sex for the sex and in porno thats the case (at least I think it is :s). sex is beautiful when love is involved, but otherwise to me its just an animal urge or so... like killing... dont have sex, but make love is my motto... I like movies in which people are so into love with eacheother and then they have sex... but porno is just for those sex junkies out there...

I disagree with you on some points, but I understand your point of view. Sex without love is indeed an animal urge, like killing. But I don't think that sex for the sake of sex necessarily does any harm.

Most porn tends to feature the demeaning of women. I mean I think a lot of it basically says that women are sex objects and that that's their only purpose and the only thing they are good for... They make women look really trashy and looks like their only purpose is to serve men (or even women) In some ways it's not sexist because women choose to reinforce their images. Sometimes it changes people's veiw on women/men... example: the person is dating a man/woman and they try to change them and say their not good enough for them because they arn't perfect or like those porn stars in the media or in magazines, they expect that their girlfriend/boyfriend has a perfect ass or a big penis and this part is where people date girls/guys with a perfect ass or if they are extremely hot. This is where girls start to judge guys by their penis or guys by a girl's boobs or ass. This is where some people start to judge others and judge only their looks and they start wanting sex because of what they look like and not by what's inside. Some get so brainwashed by the porn that they expect that the person they date will have sex with them within the first week of going out. Some start to think that women (or men) main purpose is to serve eachother, serve others by giving their naked body to them to play with.... A lot of the porn that's being sold through magazines or t.v. are a bunch of naked people selling their bodies. They are selling their bodies by selling it to the media/magazines for people to buy. Some studies have shown that kinky sex (with the whips and rods) or violent sex is led to the abuse and battery of women or men.

 

i dont think i know one person who thinks that way becasue of porn maybe some people who already are confused about sex but for the most part i dont tihnk so, thats like saying if i watch violent tv shows i will think violents is ok and so ill kill people or something your just getting into the same agument that if i watch porn or violent tv im more likley to rape or kill somone, some porn is ok but most of it is a littile to weird

 

I'm not saying that ALL people turn into that.. I'm saying it's a possibility. And I also mean if you watch pron all the time and it becomes addicting it may change your mind about certain things. If you watch it constantly.

 

It depends on a lot.... the biggest thing to remember that PORN IS A FANTASY, it is NOT REAL. Yes, that deserved yelling. It's a fine fantasy, but the moment you expect your partner to behave that way is when you've taken it too far. A fantasy is a fantasy - if you want to act it out, share that with your partner, don't expect it to be their normal way to behave in the bed.

Oh yeah, and women don't orgasm every time, have clitoris' which are great to stimulate, and the oral the show being performed on women (rare as it is with hetero porn) doesn't look like it could bring pleasure to anyone, IMHO.

I don't care for it, but I'm not so against it that I would say to get rid of all of it, or that it demeans women. I mean, the women went along with the film, so more than likely it was their personal decision anyhow.

So, although it's not my cup of tea at this point in time, I'm not horribly against it. Hey, maybe one day I'll get over my still little girlish shyness that makes me turn every shade of pink and enjoy it. My husband laughs and says he can't see that happening because it's just not "me", but hey, you never know.

personally i think that porn is degrading to women... I know that the women chose to do it, but i hate to see women that have that little respect for themselves. To me its almost like prostitution or something...idk.. its not a respectful thing for someone to be involved in if you ask me...and it definitely doesnt give anyone a good idea of what a real woman or man looks like... it just seems so trashy and unrealistic

i see nothing wrong with porn, its ENTERTAINMENT, and I dont find it degrading towards us women either, how come its supposedly always degrading towards women and not men?
