Are many girls offended by the term "pussy" when talking about female genitals? One of my female friends once talked about how she hates that term because she thinks it sounds "dirty" but maybe that's just her.
I don't find it offensive, but I do find it immature for some reason, almost middle-schoolish. I usually refer to mine as my ****, though I know that term often offends many more people than the term "pussy" does.
That's interesting because that same girl that doesn't like the term "pussy" also does not have a problem with the term "****" either.
Interesting that you both don't have a problem with ****, which usually considered to be the most offensive.
I find the word "****" to be a powerful word, for a variety of reasons. As for "pussy," I'm not really sure how anyone can find that offensive when used as a term for genitalia, but then, I don't get to decide what is or is not offensive to someone else. Now, if you used it to refer to someone (as in, "He's a pussy") I can see that being considered offensive.
I'd regard pussy as less offensive than ****. Snatch is just dumb, beaver is really an odd term. I've heard other weird ones that are potentially offensive....vertical smile, bearded clam (less apposite these days given that many women shave or wax)....
I like the term pussy. It turns me on especially when I'm uttering to a given guy who's in my presence.
Nah. It's like an Italian calling himself a wog or a black dude using the N-word. But the term cum-dumpster might be inexact to describe the vagina.....what if she liked anal, or was into swallowing?
I wouldn't go as far as to say I find it offensive, but I far prefer correct terminology. After all, what is wrong with calling a vagina a vagina or a penis a penis?
To me, those sound too clinical, at least during or when talking about sex outside of a medical setting.
It's not offending to me. One I've recently started to think I like is "puss", not to be confused with "pus", yuck lol
I guess it's the "mainstream" word now, although I personally prefer "fanny." In discussions with my daughter (21) about "down there" she uses "pussy" as the non-sexual descriptor, so I guess I'm in the minority. Sorry - the "C" word I find totally offensive, and I'm usually a very tolerant girl.
I guess everyone is different in their preferences. I like pussy. No, I mean I like the term pussy. But I do like pussy. lol
A black guy would never call himself the N-word. Nigga =/= the N-word lmfao. Why don't all white people know this??
I find pussy to be more accepted word. I also want to hypothesize that people tend to stick with one syllable curse words as words that can be used offensively. (Shit, ****, fuck, ass) Vagina is 3 syllables, and I think that's why its not catching on. Penis is two syllables. I think its just the pattern of sound and language that has shaped the appeal of what how popular words get.
