Well, I'm form Canada, and have been to the states a couple times, but it was when I was a young, non-pot smoking kid. Where do the majority of the Busted posts come form?

And people bitch about bad neighbours too, I was lucky enough that my parents were okay with me smoking as long as it wasn't in the house. There are a BAJILLION spots that I could have smoked. Is it just because I live in Canada, and maybe it's because I live in a town of 8000 people, but I would think with a big city there would be tons of places to smoke...

I've never really had problems with cops, parents, or other people in general. And if someone did have a problem with weed, I can easily find somewhere else to smoke.

I guess it's a lot more complicated then that, but man, it seems all of you get fucked in the butt somehow...

It varies from state to state and city to city. Where I live in Idaho it is absolutly ridiculous. A few weeks ago my neighbor was having a party (18 year olds). They were not loud at all, I couldn't hear them. Anyway, the people on the other side of them called the cops and made a noise complaint. One cop came at first, but when he saw that there was underage drinking decided to call for backup. Six more cars arrived complete with dogs and tazers. The dogs knocked down the fence while the police shot tazers at the runners. I also heard that one girl was dragged from under a bed by her hair. Two kids had bags and were arrested, got $1000+ fines and community service. The rest got $900 fines regardless if they had been drinking or not. Oh yea... the cops didn't knock on the door and the parents were home keeping everything under control and taking keys so nobody could drink and drive.

The person in charge of our neighboorhood watch called the cops to complain about overuse of force. They admitted to everything, but would not concede that excessive force was used.

I doubt it is this bad in many other places around the US. But it gives you a taste of how bad things can get.

Where I'm at, there are no places at all to smoke unless your lucky enough to have parents that aren't ignorant and you can toke up at your house.

We haven't ever really had problem with our neighbors calling the cops on anybody lol, most people learn the lesson after they gotta clean all the eggs off their house and replace their windows a few times, sounds like it is time to take karma into your own hands Ahti, fuck your neighbors house up hardcore.

I've never had to worry about neighbors starting trouble because I've been lucky enough to have cool neighbors for the past couple of places I've lived. Still, smoking in public is pretty difficult/risky over here. Though there are a couple places where there's no problem with it; in Ann Arbor, MI you are given a minor fine if caught smoking in public whereas here in Orlando, the cops would probably give you shit.

i love it here in the US. if your stupid about what your doing, its easy to get caught. we have access to so many drugs!, just dont deal and dont carry drugs with you when you drive and your not gonna get busted.

Damn. I remember when I was 17 at a party with a bunch of other underage kids. The kid hosting the party's parents were on vacation or something. Anyway, there were girls who were loud as fuck and so someone filed a noise complaint and the cops showed up. I was drunk off my ass and pretty high and we were stacking another bong upstairs and someone yells "cops are here!"

So I walk downstairs and I'm like "wtf? there's cops her-" and then I see like 8 cops in the kids living room haha. So I walk back upstairs and we're all upstairs smoking cigs freakin out cause we got weed and we're drunk as fuck. So me and my friend were like, "we're gettin the fuck outa here". We walk downstairs past like 5 cops who for some reason don't say shit to us, go into his parents' bedroom, and climb out the window. Then we book ass, pass about 3 cop cars who thankfully had no one in it, and chilled in someone's driveway smoking a blunt waiting for a ride. :cheers2:

But the people who didn't get away only got calls to parent's. The kid hosting the party just had to spend the night at one of his friend's house in order to be under someone else's custody. The cops took a shit load of bongs, a shit load of liquor, and a shit load of beer. Nobody got charged with anything. Coolest cops I ever met. But I still wasn't gonna fuck with em. I was too fucked up to deal with cops. I still have no idea why they didn't say a word to me and my friend. Haha

The US isn't, but small towns are. Our neighbors called the cops and told them we were drug dealers and the cops came and bullied us out of our house, held us captive on our own porch, and tore our house apart without a warrant. The charges eventually got dropped from possession of less than 1 oz of marijuana to paraphernalia, but it was such bullshit. But in bigger towns and bigger cities, cops have better things to worry about than a bitchy finger pointer.

    This

The only reason this shit happened is because nothing ever happens in my city. The only thing the cops have to do is give speeding tickets and bust teenagers, so when they get a chance for some action, they don't waste it. Like other people have said, if you are smart about it you won't get caught. I just stay away from big parties because they always get busted around here, always.

It all depends where you are. Generally law enforcement is stricter in the South and in hick type areas. Here in Boston you can walk down the street smokeing a joint as long as you are cool about it. People smoke on their porches all the time here, even before the law changed(in Mass. possion of under one oz is a ticket). Generaly in New England the only way you get busted for smokeing is if you are makeing a nusience of yourself by being a loud, Destructive or driving.

There is a war on freedom in this hemisphere. Some take it more serious than others. For the most part cops are tired of busting stoners. But there are real benifits for the fascists in breaking down free thinkers and forcing conformity to gain control of the lower class. They use fear to control and push the drugs they want us to have. Although Canada is somewhat relaxed yall are still being fooled into calm. The bussiness of law enforcement is huge and growing in the world and has the support of many sheep. When they figure out how to make more money off of legal hemp than the illegal thing will relax. But for now colleges are training prison guards probation officers and cops at an alarming rate and jobs are being created building new colleges prisons and police stations to ramp up the war on freedom. The nature of this system to create jobs is the thing holding back the decriminalization of hemp. It is a complex cultural thing involving mass brain washing. wake up freedom lovers and find a way to make legalization profitable for the corporate greed masters then they will back off.:D

America is horrible, we don't have one WMD buried in South America! All I know is that we have to swim really deep off of the east coast for VX.

I'm in a small town, S. Ontario. It's incredibly chill. Never once had to talk to a cop in this town except to burn with them. I can go anywhere and blaze, right on main street even.
