jerry knows all, jerry knows all, the answer to life is in jerry's mind...... ...gahhggrggll....... *drools like a zombie*
If the Jerry is going off the Bible then he will be correct because God's word has always held true...
All this "fulfilled prophecy" stuff is falsified back-reading of scripture to fit the purpose, a method of false scriptural authentication known as "midrash". Mish-Mash would be more appropriate for the way it is used by christianity. Jerry is no pacemaker. More like a cross between an albatross and an anchor.

Well if you read the Old Testament you will find over 300 of them that refer to Jesus Christ. And all these prophecies were written down hundreds of years before he was born. A billion people believe that Christ is God, so I guess you might have a billion people that believe the prophecy.
Do you feel like sharing any of these prophecies? Because I can't be bothered to read the entire old testament.
Campbell, Do you realize that if enough folks believe this, whether it has "deeper" truth or not, that it can become self fulfilling 'group-think'; a self-fulfilling "prophecy" ? Do you realize this ? What we, here, commonly refer to as "The Bible", is what I call "a compilation of scared ancient histories about societies and prophets". I know of different interpretations than you offer and my deeper feelings about this I rarely discuss. But to give you a sense of a bit of my experience follow this link ( this was a letter a that I wrote with a photo that I took attached ). I do not discount the implicit fact that there are hidden unusual progressions happening that at one point will manifest in ways that are overt, but even these can, at least, be influenced if not significantly changed; we as humans, by acknowledgement of the reality of our experience have amazing power bestowed upon us. Such shirking of our ability to do good and to influence good change in our world can be very, very dangerous. I part company with you in that we must not give up and preach inevitable destruction - this is madness. And vurnerable, naive, people under the influence of this may not contribute to good in this world because they are thinking that heaven is somewhere else. The Kingdom of Heaven is Here and Now, and there are many "places" in 'the universe'. Given your explanation that your preaching is a warning I am grateful and I take note. And, yes it may be that man is destined to generate an Armageddon but my Brother do not contribute to it happening, instead work for good wherever you are. Peace and Respect, David
He isn't trying working up the situation so that it will be fulfilled for it will be fulfilled no matter what Campbell says or does not. He is simply warning people of God's impending judgment.
"Judgement" is a different word than "decision"; why do you believe it is that God makes this particular judgement ?
