I hate to exercise! But I think I should start. I rearranged my room today and I feel wore out, that's pitiful. I just want something that doesn't feel like exercise, something fun. Does anyone have any suggestions?

something fun but doesnt' seem like exercise could be playing pick-up basketball games or soccer or football or whatever. sports are an alternative to the classic exercising at gyms. find something you like to do that is challenging to your active life and do it. and have fun.

dance is fun, not like ballet but the jumping up and down hard core type, its entertaining to cuz you feel really crazy doing it and you cant help but laugh at yourself! oh yes, and sex...:)

Lakeoffire and Nisha are right about sex and dancing. Just make a complete ass of yourself to the point of falling over laughing (....um..while dancing, not while having sex...). Have a dog? Take it to the beach and chase it in circles on the sand. It's easiest to run around on the sand that's semi-hard from being wet earlier in the day. You might hate it but I LOVE jogging. I find it to be so much fun. Check out my jogging thread...it might be a couple pages back by now but it has some good pointers if you choose to go that route. I had to lose a couple pounds before I truly enjoyed getting off my ass and moving. But now I'm a walking energizer bunny. Moving just feels so damn good.

LOL discovering muscles we don't use so often feels so good! Roller Blading is a blast, we used to do that here at work for our lunch break!

I suggest for someone looking for something fun, and not really an exercise program to join a team, league or group that does some sort of activity you enjoy, could be fishing or hiking or mountain biking, or even surfing. As long as you are moving your body and you are active that is great.

The best advice I can give anyone is just turn off the tv and the computer and go outside... especially while there is still sunlight!

I telemark ski, backpack, mountain bike, rock climb, day hikes..... etc. I have a pretty good time.
Just find something you like and stick with it.

I really like yoga and pilates, it doesn't feel like exercise, and it's relaxing.

I've done some yoga, but for some reason I never stick with it. I'm not flexible and so I didn't find it fun. I guess I should just set aside some specific time every day or every other day to exercise. Otherwise I never get around to it and sometimes even forget altogether. Thanks for the replies!
