Is there ever a good reason for no reply?

Hi all,

Do you think there is ever a good reason for a guy not replying?

There's this guy who I've known for a few years. We hadn't seen each other in over a year and went for a drink recently but mainly to talk about career advice. That night I thought we got along very well and were like old friends. I messaged him a few days ago to ask if he wanted to have a drink again soon, this time without any mention of career advice and he hasn't replied which is unusual for him because he normally replies to my messages within hours.

Is it possible that there's a good reason or is the deafening sound of silence a clear "I don't like you!"

 

He may just be busy and not certain of his near future schedule and figures no reply is better than an 'I don't know'.

 

Maybe something's wrong with his communication system. You're assuming the worst to quickly lol...

 

I may be a little impatient!! How long with no reply do you think it becomes too long?

 

send him a text asking if he got your last one, tell him your phone is acting up or something. It's prolly nuttin.

 

texts don't always go through.

if i don't notice a text until it's several hours old, i might not reply just because it seems weird to reply to a text after too long.

also, sometimes i just forget.

 

Communication systems due malfunction...

And Then Hit SEND....

It's Called "VOICE COMMUNICATION" And Lots Of Peeps Still Use It....
