Don't you think sometimes the ethnic mix on some shows is kinda disproportionate?

But, I'd say in the US there are way to many black people and not enough asians and hispanics. A good mix or way too many black people?

in which case they are definatley not to many of them on the telly. i've never seen these dudes before in my life, and i watch a lot of telly.

 

...it is what it is... I don't watch TV, it's over-rated.

But what I want to know, is why do all the white people live to the end of a scary movie, or at least die last, that's what I want to know.

 

That's a serious issue. I mean if it's dark surely any white people there would stand out more?

Maybe - but it seems a little odd to me.

Because the monster knows thy have had sex together - all of them - and they will die of syphilis a few months later. Really the monster is doing the coloured people a favour.

In reference to SilverHippy. I was saying it apparently must be pretty easy to be best over there. That guy sucks.

As for too many ethnic.... maybe your standards are just unrealistic. I wouldn't say theres a lack or overabundence of diversity on American TV. I would say they do make it pretty apparent to have a black charecter who doesn't have anything to say.

Or now maybe he's a witty scientist with like one line. But whatever, TV is 30 frames of lies every second. Things also don't go back to they way they started in real life.

 

Sorry. That sounds like a cliche from the 80s.
I can't think of many e.gs like you say, but I can think of plenty of characters who are on a par with the white character.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have any problem with it...but sometimes it seems there are way too many in comparison to actual polution at large.
Plus, it seems to be only certain ethnicities not a broad mix.
