since Friday I have been getting the worst menstral-like cramps that don't go away (I'm not talking coming and going, like contractions, these just stay). There's a ton of back and hip ache that goes along with it, too. I also break out in these horrible hot and cold sweats and feel dizy and oddly, really gassy...which has progressed to having to use the washroom a whole bunch in one day.
It's mainly if I'm walking around doing something. The first time it happened, I was at walmart and I had to get outta there real fast. Once I was able to sit down and relax, it went away.
But now it's getting more frequent. This evening, I was only doing the dishes and it happened. I used the washroom, still feeling gross, and thought maybe a shower would help. That didn't either. It's an hour later, and I still feel gross.
I don't remember ever feeling like this with Lea Lea, which is why I'm kinda worried.

Better yet. don't lift anything. If possible, contact your midwife tonight? I'm not sure what their hrs are there but here they are 24/7.

    Take it easy

    thanks :)
i'm thinkin it's not braxton hicks, since it's not a coming and going type of pain.
I'm going to call tomorrow morning and make another appointment to get into see the midwife this week, but it probably won't be until Thursday or so...
Now that I have been sitting for a while, I feel better, but there's still the faint cramppy feeling there...it's so odd. If I call right now, I'm just going to get the nurses station and they're going to tell me to sit back and relax and all that (I'm still having me baby in a hospital, even though I'm using a midwife). They generally discourage anyone from coming in for anything since there are only 4 birthing rooms avaliable, which are almost always in use. So I'm better off calling in the morning and riding this one out tonight.

Water, water, water, and rest. If it goes away, you know you're overworking yourself. :)

no :( he's still snuggled in there....
are you saying that this should be a good thing towards labor???
    i really hope so!!!
now I have reached the point where no matter how late I go to bed, I can't sleep past about 6am and my brain is just racing with things to do...hence why I am up right now, and not very happy about it...lol
