More things go "SQUELCH" when you step on them (preferably barefoot) AFTER a rainstorm than before a rainstorm!
since i started my barefoot days, i saved a lot of snails: often i feel them in time to avoid crushing their shells. if not... only alcohol can remove their goo from my soles
yeah that's the problem with crossing fields after the rain. Talking of fields, cow poo is something I've made the mistake of stepping on; but I was throwing the dry ones at friends so maybe I deserved it .
You have a dry sense of humour I had to read this twice But yeah, the dry cow pats make a great Frisbee, just dont grab the fresh stuff
Never tried throwing it, but I spend a reasonable amont of time on a farm barefoot and have had a fair bit of it pass through my bare toes. It washes off a bare foot much easier than out of a leg cast! I made the mistake a while ago of leaving my crutches behind and walking on my casted foot. I seemed like a good idea at the time, it was great to feel the ground on my toes poking out of the end of the cast. Not so great when I wasn't watching where I was walking and suddenly had that feeling of someting oozing between my toes, and into my cast. Not nice! I had to use a hose to try and rinse the worst of it out, then present myself at the hospital and ask them nicely to take that cast off and put a freash one on. Luckily the nurses found it highly amusing when I turned up with an unsually stained piece of fibreglass on my left leg.
