It's Arrived! And it looks Scary!

My DPT arrived in today's mail and it looks scary.

For those of you who have ordered and tripped with DPT, can you please describe the material's appearance?

The vendor i ordered from indicated "purple powder," and it's very dark purple, like black, very fine powder. Rather intimidating looking.

What did yours look like?

 

white and brown, but I've I remember a few other members here saying that their DPT was also black a while back.

 

i have only heard of brown and white powder........

 

IME it should be white. I've heard of brown, but not purple.

 

Small synthesis impurities seem to make a big impact on colour.. not too long ago there were lots of posts inquiring about if brown DPT was ok.

 

So does what I said yesterday about the labs that produce this stuff make more sense now?

I'm pretty sure it's fine. It's just a bit less pure than usual but apparently that resulted in unusually dark and weird color.

I got 4-aco-DMT from there and it's also very fine powder unlike one I got from another vendor. Still didn't try it so can't comment difference in potency.

 

I know that source, and have heard it's still good depite being purple. No worries.

i will be extremely cautious and in fact will dose very low/oral on my first try. My husband/sitter will be within easy reach and will know what i took, how much and where the remainder is . . .

Btw: If i dose real low (like 1-5 mg) and all goes well, can i bump up right away (thinking 25-50 mgs) or is tolerance a bear with this one?

But, if all goes well, my intention is to go for a 200 mg oral range dose after the initial trials. . . .

The pic St.Stephen posted appears to be smokable freebase.
Is that what you wanted? and will dosages translate the same as product made for oral consumption?

 

the oral route doesn't work - even when people combined it with an MAOI orally they still didn't get satisfactory effects. either snort / inject it, or convert it to a base and smoke it.

 

I think you should do allergy test or whatever it is you want with 1-5 mg first. But then for the real dose you should RAIL 200mg, not eat it. There is enough info on the web that says an oral dose like that would be a waste of substance. And there is also enough info and previous experience from people here that says a high nasal dose would be in your best interest. You gotta dose high with this one.

i was drooling jealous when i saw the St. Stephen picture. i WISH i had smokeable freebase! i wish i knew how to convert my HCl salt! Dr. Shulgin knows! The smokeable freebase is reported to be oily by Erowid, but i am unsure of color. Dosages do NOT translate at all. i will be taking it by the LEAST psychoactive pathway. DPT is known for only being weakly orally active. As a matter of fact, i have watched the Erowid page on this material for a couple of years and it seems like they keep bumping up the oral dosages, especially for a strong experience. . .

 

Dudes! i cannot RAIL 200 mgs of burning tryptamine! i'm too nervous to snort enough K to take me all the way to the K-Hole. Sorry. i am too cowardly to inject, even though works are easily available . . .

So, i may be screwed, . . . or, ironically, if it is not all that good, saved . . .

 

if memory serves, I think what pr0ne means is that at low-moderate doses the fear factor is almost unbearable, but at higher doses you are pushed way beyond self and the associated fear.
So higher dosing is emotionally/psychologically less traumatic then a lower dose.

 

Yeah some really good TRs about the deeps on here too. You are used to da tryptamine fire, Spicey, I have read your shit. I have seen many many people take 200mg to the face and loved it afterwards.

 

Okay, i hear what you guys are saying and it all sounds complimentary. But, seriously, i am an oral route, smoking route drug consumer . . .

Okay, does anyone know how to convert the HCl to the freebase oil? i'd be willing to give it a go in my "home lab."
