what more do you want? you shouldn't even really expect credit or doing it to show other countries how "rich" or how "generous" you guys are.

I thought the main point of donation was to help people. Not to expect something in return, even something as little as credit.

In relation to the amount of money available America does jack shit.

 

Hey now our country is in mad debt, our budget deficit is $1.3 trillion. Only Japan, France, Britain, Italy, and Germany even have a budget that reaches $1 trillion period. America still gives by far the most money all around the world for, well everything.

 

Yeah, I wasnt disputing that but I was just saying in relation to the amount of money available its aid is something like 0.1% of its GDI compared to the UN target of 0.7%. Although the only countries that actually do reach that are Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands. Even still, for the richest country in the world that figure is pathetically low. I mean Ireland isnt much better at around 0.3% but it beats the hell out of.1
