its hard to knot? huh?

    aelias your dreads are amazing
    but by the time they get to your hips i might hadta start swimmin to uk to come see ya...
    damn all you gorgouse dreadies...dreads are just too damn sexy on yas make me wanna risk my life tryin to swim cross the ocean just to give ya a hug

    I dunno my hair is straight, thick and if I dont wash it with at least just hot water everyday it gets pretty oily. I havent touched a comb in well over 6 months and I dont have a single not to show for it. I guess Im just not meant for locks.

    how long is it
    also wash with bronners or the deep cleanse and dont wash every day your haor will overproduce oils if its used to having them stripped aeway daily
    if u wash weekly it'll start proiducing less
    but u will wanna wash with something that cuts the oil and removes iot
    not just water

    most any health food store or trsder joes or most places that sell good quality natural products
    go to dr bronners websire
    or just check local health food stores ior coops

    I use he dr.bronners bar soap about once a week. It just leaves my hair really soft and fluffy like. Not really knottable (if thats a word).

    stop brushing and play with your hair

    after a month or two you'll see change

    I want to grow them on the principal that they are natural. Backcombing doesn't seem very natural to me.

    well you said yourself the natural way isn't doing anything for you, so maybe backcombing will spark the flame to dread, so to speak
