Indeed it is my right honourable friend.

Here in Lewisham in london, I was going out for a ciggy and could really feel the cold. It was like a dry harsh cold that goes right through you.
I think we should all put thermos on and put radiators on to 4 setting.

I think the swaying palm trees and the crystal clear waters of Newquay are clues to how mild Cornwall really is. Infact the Gulf stream goes through it.

However the Cornish coast is constantly bashed by the Atlantic.

its bloody freezing here in doncaster, the house is freezing & i have to get the landlord out to sort the radiators out. the thermistatic valves arnt working so the radiators wont switch on. it was awful this morning having to get out of my nice warm bed in to cold air & i had to scrape ice off my window screan this morning for the first time since march.

It has turned mighty cold , the night before last I was really quite cold even in bed which is very unusual for me .

So last night I brought down my arctic british army sleeping bag , this is the best sleeping bag Ive ever seen, its really really really thick mummy style with baffles and you could sleep warm in a snow drift in norway with it .
on top of that I put a quilt and I was really toasty all night , I feel its a good time to hibernate.

In this weather you need plenty of soup and warm food and to keep warm clothes on if you keep high soup levels you will be ok

You should get a thermal vest, it's a fine piece of clothing, like cold proof armour or a second skin. I used to wear one all the time. Or a big thick poncho, like the people wear in the Andes, they know how to dress, much warmer than British mountaineering gear....
