I did some meditating. Then I did some painting. Then I painted over old paintings. Then I slept and painted some more. And in the end I progressed and found that form is all in your mind. Again I tried Oil paints and found salvation in their blending and color mixing. And when all else failed I transformed some old drawings and completed my torso body of work. Here are the results af a long time of planning, reworking, and failing. I hope you enjoy them.
The first is called A Modern Weaving, followed by Mother God, and finally Myan Druidism. More new stuff is in my gallery. Feel free to comment. I take criticism well.
I really like the colors in the first one, the second one is really pretty, and i like the third one as well
I don't seem to resonate with the first one at all. I think I actually feel slightly annoyed when looking at it. I Really like the second one--something about it.. it's kind of shivery like another world, a dream, or a soft epiphany. The third makes me think "surreal." It feels like a funny-feeling distant part of me relates to it, and the rest of me sits there and thinks, 'well that's odd.' It sounds like you've been on an interesting journey. Thanks for putting your work out here!
thanks to becca, and ginger i'm glad you enjoyed the last two. i'm also kind of exuberant about your comment on the first. i actually did a body of work once where my main point was to annoy to people so they refused to look but still took notice. it was a fun experiment and i actually took some ideas from that for this painting. thanks for your intereset and comments. and just for referrence the first painting is 3 feet wide by 4 feet high. the second 2 ft by 3 feet and the third is 18x24 inches.
i like the second one. it just looks calming and peaceful, but also metallicy and electric. i like them all though. very nice work.
thank you. i really appreciate all your comments. and i will post more when i'm done the next body of work. i'm think abstract space but who knows. i always end up painting over everything. =)

Very cool. You seem to have some playfulness in your art-style. It's such a creative idea--to annoy people, but still have them notice. I said I didn't resonate, but, like you said, the fact is I obviously did, just not in a comfortable way. KEEEP PAINTIIING
Wow! I'm happier after looking than I was before, if that's worth anything to you.I really like "Morning Stretches," how big is it? Price?
I like the first one best. I can kind of picture myself in the painting, walking and hopping around. I love paintings that make you feel like you could just step inside them. ^_^ The 2nd one makes me think of a storm, and the 3rd one reminds of some videogames I play.
The first, although at first glance odd and somewhat loud, is really quite interesting to look at. The second has some great blending and is really good overall. The third I find very interesting in the rocks and all. Great blending technique, love the work. Keep meditating.
