i've decided to go to school.

because i want to dig for bones in africa.

i start tomorrow.

 

What sort of bones?

 

dead ones. from half ape/half humans and then i want to go to mexico and find something miraculous...and some clay pots!

It really doesn't matter what kind of high school you go to if you want to be an archaeologist. College is where you need to go..

I wanted to be an archeologist when I was in elementary/middle school... I since changed my mind. Soulrebel is right, highschool is generic.

You'd probably get a better education homeschooling. Unfortunately, education doesn't seem to be what matters.

There's less distractions, and you actually learn about things... I've learned more these last 5 or so months then I did all throughout middle school, 9th, and 10th grade. You just got to be determined and able to learn without someone teaching you. No biased teachers, no peer-pressure, you can't skip, etc etc etc...

Also, on average, homeschool students score way higher on college entry exams then public school kids.

 

Public schools just aren't very good. If you care to learn things yourself, you could easily do much better. Public school is not so much about learning, as being obedient. Any one who bothers to spend time on things can get good grades, they're not an accurate indication of intelligence or anything. If you think I'm wrong, whatever, I really don't care.

 

i wouldn't be able to get a diploma tho, and i have no motivation. hah. i know all that but.... i can't go to an online school or get supplies or anything with my situation, because my dad's disability people won't pay to have me living with him and...... they will only pay if i go to school or i homeschool through my area high school... and the going through area school is waaaaaay too complex and i'd rather just go to school and get my certificates and .... :H

and i havn't hung out with friends since like october and thats with public schooling, and if i'm homeschooled i'll never leave my house.. lol.....thats just how i am. i've been here for like eleven days at my dads and have done nothing really.
