There has not been much talent in Hollywood for the past 20 years or so.Least of all him.The only thing I can advise people is to stick with the great older movies and tv shows(that have 'real' talent in all areas) they "used" to make 20+ years ago.
He can sing, dance, he can do comedy, drama. and what's more, he's not even good looking, so it's not like he's used his looks to get him to where he is, it's all skill and talent. He's ridiculously talented.
Maybe it was unfair of me comment specifically on Jamie Foxx..Because I have not seen much of anything he ever did.My main point was the lack of talent coming out of Hollywood period(and in ALL areas,not only actors but writers,directors,producers etc.) within the last 20+ years or so.As far as real talent,Sidney Poitier was among 100s of premier actors during the 'Golden Age'(the 1940s-1970s) of cinema that leave most of todays so-called actors in the dust.---A sidenote:I certainly do not put all the blame on the actors they have nowadays.It must be hard to be an actor in contemporary cinema and television with such overall poor material being produced.
he does it all, but i dont find him to be a genius in any particular arena. Most well-rounded maybe. Born to entertain, but not someone who'll be remembered
