I think Janis is the greatest female singer of all time. I HATE Kelly Clarkston and Britney Spears and fucking Paris Hilton. I think they are stuck up little bitches who dress like slutty little whores. Janis may have done some stupid shit in her life, but she never had to be so superficial. Yeah Janis is really amazing female singer...she is the blues Her voice is so strong and bold and unique. My fav. singers besides Janis are Grace Slick,Joan Baez,Aretha Franklin,Joni Mitchell,Nico,Etta James,Laura Nyro,Ruth Brown,Judy Collins,Patti Smith,Sandy Denny,Dorothy Moskowitz,Signe Anderson,Marianne Faithful and Billie Holiday.
Gotta dig some Janis! Talented and brilliant, I dont think she gets enough credit for her efforts. She has one of those voices that is instantly recognizeable, and is one of my fave singers of all time. I love all her music! When she sings, you can see all the way down into her soul. Sam played with Janis in several bands including Big Brother & the Holding Company, and is a super hep-cat to meet and talk with about her and her music.

Janis is one and only and there is no doubt about it, but don't blame Paris, Britney, etc, for being like that, I mean, what could you expect of an child with all the money in the world, or the one with parents being so ambitious....On the other hand, Kelly Clarkson seems like a nice girl, although I don't listen to her music...It's incomparable to Janis'!..
