My jaw pops...a lot. Also, it has been so bad that I havn't been able to eat...it doesn't happen often that bad, but when it does...geez. Anyone know what it could be?

Mine does the same thing! Sometimes I can't even open my mouth all of the way. My guess is that it's from clenching your jaw in your sleep. It's worst when I'm stressed, and I clench my jaw without realizing it a lot then. May not be the answer, but it's an idea!

the following muscles may have something to do with it:
    -sternocloidomastoid
    -trapezius
    -masetter
    -temporalis

just have a look at those names in an encyclopedia
but it could also be that ur joint is disfunctional??? maybe?
get it checked by a doc!!!:)
