My most favorite jeans got a giant hole right under my butt. It started awhile ago, but now it's HUGE. I've had those jeans since I'm 14 and they still fit me perfectly. They are so comfy, extremely faded and all frayed from dragging them as I walked.

    I love them too much.

I got them in Hollister, so I could still get the same one, but it's just not going to be the same. We had bonded.

Oh noes! Patch them, stick another couple on and presto it looks like hippie chic instead of a repair job.

I have a pair of jeans like that. They're sooo comfy and they fit just right and I just can't bring myself to throw them away. So I still wear them, only with some funky thights in rainbow colour or something like that. I can just about get away with that. :D You should try it too!

    I do like patches.

I've just never patched anything. I'm not the most handy of girls, how do I do it? Do I have to sow it into the jean?

get an iron on patch and / or borrow a needle and thread form your mom. it doesn't matter how it looks when you sew it. they're your jeans, man. you gotta learn sometime.

I would take a picture, but I left my camera at home.

I have my other Camera here, but I dont have batteries for it.

I wasnt wearing them. I just washed them and looked at the hole and got scared, but after what you said i tried them on and looked in the mirror and I k can still wear them.

The hole is more goes horizontally. So there's no skin exposing, except for my left inner thigh when I sit, but it doesnt really show.

    Yay :)

Just to put it out there. I dont buy already ripped out jeans.

They need to go through the destruction process with me. It's the only way for me to respect them.

    yeah same with me.

For all we know the children who made them wore the jeans, played soccer and tore the shit out of em, put them back in the box and sent them over. Starting a stupid trend.

starting? pre-torn jeans have been around for a long while now. and they've always been expensive for some reason.

i first heard of the idea in elementary school i think. probably between 3rd and 5th grade. i thought it was stuid as hell. still do.

i regularly wear through the knees of my jeans. i find it hard to through them away because of this. in the summer i simply trim my leg hair just a bit (not close at all to shaving) so i can be presentable in shorts or torn (in my opinion simply well ventilated :)) jeans

in the winter i am prone to wearing plaid pajama pants as long underwear with the jeans over them. actually, i personally think it looks pretty cool, and its warm and comfy as all get out. you get a nice little burst of cool colors in you otherwise monochromatic pants :p

but a hole right in the seat of the pants? i dont know.....i still wouldnt suggest throwing them away, you may salvage them....but if thats the only hole i could see it looking wierd.

still fit in the same pants you wore when you were 14? i'm jealous. my waist has grown 2-4 inches in the past two years :(:(:( i have a single pair of jeans that fit me, plust my work clothes. i seriously need new clothes. or better yet, diet and exercise

Don't thro them away, whatever you do. I had to chuck my favourite pair of jeans about 6 months ago. They were already ripped and frayed all over the place and then I had a motorcycle accident and destroyed them.

I really miss them. Never had a pair of jeans I liked so much.

I'm sure my body has changed a lot since I was 14. When I got those jeans they would fall down my hips, now they stay there
They were just very relaxed and comfy. They still are comfy, but they now are my sexy jeans. They're not TIGHT, just not as loose fitting.
I was pretty damn skinny when I was 14. I was a size 0, but I felt really uncomfortable with my body. Not like I didnt like it how I looked. I just didnt feel comfortable with people's attention focused on my body and in places like DR everybody feels the need to make a comment about your body and people having a 10 minute conversation about your butt is like talking about the weather. So I sometimes ended up getting clothes that were a tiny bit bigger, so they would just kinda fall on me. Like those jeans, that are a size 3. I cant remember, but I think Hollister has their jeans in odd numbers. Now I'm a size 2-4 (I guess 3 in odd numbers), so really I was wearing clothes a bit too big for me and that's the only reason why they still fit me.

I wont. It's really not noticeable and I can never find jeans I really like. I always buy new jeans that dont really convince me, but I buy them because I can never find one that I love and I always end up hating them.
