Jimi Hendrix or Janis Joplin?

I like Janis Joplin more.

 

I also lurve Janis, but Jimi was just as great. Jimi was a great guitarist and Janis was the best female vocalist of her time. I love Janis most cos she's been with me longest

 

Jimi for the music, Janis for the boobs.

wow this is tough. i love and respect the both of them but i like jimi more.

You can't compare those two, well you can, but there wouldn't be all that much of a point... the only way you could truly compare an artist to an artist is if they had a clone...

Jimi, hands down, axis is the best album of all time.

Both are a little too amazing, and left way too much undone to pick one.

Both at Monterey Pop, both doing lots of blues, both great live and studio

Janis smacked Jim Morrison on the head with a whiskey bottle, Jimis band knocked out Davey Jones of the Monkees.... so many similarities!!!

 

besides the fact that ones a vocalist and ones a guitarest...


im gonna say hendrix, i can never seem to get into janis that much, no matter how hard i try. I think she is a wonderful singer, i guess she is just not my taste.
