Dude, this was on the channel four news AGES ago.
They had a clip of the guy talking/they interviewed him and he said that they *might* not have copied it blah blah oh yeah and it might've been Prince Charles at the gig, not Chris Martin.

 

Oh well.

I listened to both of the songs and yea they sound similar but Im not sure if I believe the Coldplay fags did it on purpose. I think Satriani is just being a whiny bitch. But I hate Coldplay and only wish the worst for them so, GO JOE!

Of course he fucking didn't, he wrote the song "If I could fly". They took a portion of it and including in the track Viva La Vida, which they wrote. That is what plagiarism means you daft cunts.

I have, and imma ain't no good at it. I also find it extremely difficult to come up with original arrangements without pulling something from a song that is embedded somewhere in my subconscious mind.

That said, Coldplay are still shite.
